Lots of non-visual progress!
Added 2017-01-31 06:04:39 +0000 UTCOver the weekend I've done battle with a cold, until at last I threw my enemy down and smote him upon the mountain side. I'm back in action now though, and hard at work.
I don't have anything cool to show off today, all the work I've done lately has been on the code side of things. Unless you're interested in coding in object oriented programming there isn't much to talk about.
You're interested in object oriented programming? No way, me too! Since you asked, I've spent the evening refactoring the code for Lab Rats to turn the girls into their own objects. Now each one is an instance of the "Girl" object, which will make it much easier to expand their functionality going forward. In particular, I'm now able to take all of the serum code (Which decided how much of a boost each type gave you to a girls score) and put it in it's own function. That means when the serum code is tweaked (work for another night), I'll only have to modify it in one place instead of a thousand little references.
All around good work to ensure the long term sustainability of Lab Rats.
