Character Traits, a Plan for the Future
Added 2017-02-10 05:30:54 +0000 UTCv0.4 is comming along nicely, with almost all of the major features I had planned completed already and plenty of time to finish off the ones that aren't done yet. Those unfinished things, for anyone curious, is better stat tracking for the player and a partial rewrite of the introduction.
But there's one issue I identified early that isn't going to be solved right now. The issue is this: throughout the game, as you raise a girls influence, their behaviour changes. A few of the scenes I've written assume the girls behaviour changes in some specifc way. Lily, for example, has a minor scene where she's used by multiple guys at a poker game. If you've played through the game with the intention of turning Lily into your private at-home slut, then that's a major departure from what you wanted, and you get absolutely zero say in the matter.
So I want to fix that and prevent those sorts of scenes from appearing. For any individual topic that would be fairly trivial to do; a few flags or counters and some special conversation options that unlock the scenes. In the end though, that just cuts out content without adding any more.
The plan is to instead dedicate a full update cycle at some point in the future to each specific character trait that I'd like to see a girl develop throughout the game. These themed update cycles would add a new stat to each girl, along with several major and minor scenes for each that exemplify that stat. For example, a public/private update would have scenes where Lily is a huge public slut on one end (Slutty outfits around town, fucks other guys, doesn't hide anything) and your private servant on the other (Services you when you get home, dresses however you want her to, keeps her actions secret).
So if you're annoyed about Lily getting shared around, or wish there was some way to turn Mom into an office slut, just hold on a little longer. It's on the way, I just want to make sure I take the time and do it right.

probably not the best place to ask but i just cant figure out how the hell i get more chances to drug up nora except for the very first one with steph too ? would it be possible to add some way to know later on like hints or the ability to ask say steph if there is a way to drug her once steph is obedient enough ? like with mom

I posted the following on the LoK board, but since I am here wanted to let you know of a couple things I found. There are some odd word choices in the Sleeping In scenes, I'd have to look for specifics but if you review the text you might find what I mean. When making the blue serum and Nora finds you, when her level is high enough for a blowjob the text notes that she reaches a hand under her skirt...she wears pants.

2017-02-13 11:13:57 +0000 UTCv0.4 is actually going one step farther than this and lets you redo scenes AND get an influence gain. The downside is that each time a scene is repeated it raises the girls Resistance, which lowers Influence gain in the future. Finding more minor scenes lowers their Resistance as they get use to their new actions.

So if u get a raise on their other scenes you can come back and replay with a ability for a different choice. Just replaying the same overall scene wont give you higher perks.
2017-02-10 18:14:47 +0000 UTCI like this idea, kind of annoys me when you have a game where the characters end up in arch types for their personality and you can't influence it much if any. As in exhibitionist, one character always taking the brunt of humiliate style scenes etc. Not saying it's bad to have those options but I like the idea of being able to shape the characters behavior and personality through what you do to them or the suggestions you give.

2017-02-10 17:32:37 +0000 UTCI'd personally like to see different traits for each character, which sounds like what you might be doing anyway. Like for Alexis, her traits might be 'girlfriend' versus 'property', or 'exhibitionists versus 'sex toy'.
