Prototyping Rendering Improvements
Added 2019-05-14 05:09:08 +0000 UTCI have been looking at my rendering setup and experimenting to figure out what can be improved. I am zeroing in on some issues with the way both faces and emotions are rendered and hope to have some fixes set up for tomorrow. If that goes well I will re-render all of the existing faces/emotions and have them included in v0.17. At the same time I will be rendering some new outfit patterns as I continue to widen the number of outfit designs supported.
On the storyline front I have begun to define character objects in game, create new home locations for them, and set up a framework for their storylines. I will be refactoring the file structure so each character's storyline is a single .rpy file to make it easier for myself and for modders to find specific story content.
That's all for now!

So long as we still get the raw .rpy files I'm happy. Customization is good..... The first thing I do every release is make Mom a 'normal' body type and turn off the 'curvy' body types from the list.

The main concern I have right now is flooding the screen with Room locations and having to keep in mind where other people are placing theirs in terms of XY position (Rooms added via external mods). Just want to know if you have any ideas on how you will progress with that part of the game or if I should cook something up myself meanwhile.
