Rendering New Clothing Items
Added 2019-07-17 07:44:04 +0000 UTCA couple of days ago I sat down and set up a bunch of new clothing items to render out, and my computer has been chugging along in my down time generating the image sets for them. I have had two factors in mind when picking what items of clothing to add and render. First, I want to provide as much variation as possible to the most commonly seen classes: shirts, skirts, and pants. Second, I want to ensure I have all the common pieces of clothing you would expect represented.
I have an evening dress, two variations of boots, two new blouses, and two lengths of socks rendering. The socks in particular will be a welcome addition to making more reasonable footwear sets. These will take another day to finish rendering out, then I will be setting up some colour variations for as many clothing items as I can get through. While all this rendering is taking place I will have time to do some story and event writing. I'm planning to expand Alexia's storyline and introduce Nora as a possible side path to improve your serum research level.

A lot more clothes as well, but I'm sure Vren has that covered. Also, I hope to see similar random events like we had in LR1. I loved the coffee shop make-out and the bus ride, oh and the beach events. Hell all of them lol. I guess we will see events in all the places in town at some point. The gym will be fun as will the sex shop. I just cannot wait . Early days I know. Would love to see a road map of some kind.

I realize a lot of this is a lot further down on the road, but I like to get suggestions in the box before you've already decided what's getting in:<br><br>1. As part of Gabrielle's story chain, allow the player to offer her an internship at the company (As an optional route). I just noticed she has high intelligence and in one run through, loved research work. Well, we have great news for her.<br><br>2. At least one unique character, with a corruption story line like any other of the original cast's, associated with each location. Perhaps dealing with these characters can provide perks associated with their position - the gym character might let you work out for cheaper or free (or perhaps they're a personal trainer and can 'train' your fitness and <i>other</i> skills at your place, or theirs, or in a private room), the hardware store character might let you build additions to the house, or upgrade rooms, for cheaper, and so on.<br><br>3. A fleshed out dating system. For example, with Steph, she loved Hiking. I'd like the option to take a girl to a place and have a couple options to tailor the experience. Maybe there's a chance to slip syrum into a drink or a water bottle? Maybe there's a choice about where to steer the conversation, whether you talk about your burgeoning relationship or what fun you're going to get up to afterward? I figure this is already on your chopping block, but hey, I'm not a mind reader.<br><br>4. A revamped love / obedience system. I think as it stands it's pretty rough, which might just be because it's a placeholder. Flirting, for example, increases love by 5. That's crazy. Flirt with a girl 20 times and she'll cheat on her husband with you? I don't think so. Maybe 'some' characters should be vulnerable to such advances, maybe via a trait, but I think love should be treated like sluttiness. Some actions can temporarily increase love, and maybe some 'core' love is increased on flirting - maybe more like 1 or 2 - but if a girl is dosed on syrum, it is effected similarly to how sluttiness works. The same for obedience. Tie it into the core mechanic of drugging girls and influencing them. And, speaking of, there's a pitfall right now that if you get a girl's love too high, it becomes next to impossible to raise her sluttiness, because she's already 'willing' to do anything with you anyway. I've hit this trap with Alexia a few too many times and there's no easy way to get out of it. Maybe include a reliable way to bleed off love, or to raise sluttiness, if only by tiny amounts at a time.<br><br>5. More heads / faces /hairstyles / names. I realize content isn't your focus right now, but it's really pretty distracting as is having 3 Charismas working for you and two of them sharing the face of your sister. I'd even recommend you go with unique faces / hairstyles to set unique characters apart from the procedurally generated characters. Anyway, great game and it's shaping up. Obviously there's a lot left to do but I'm looking forward to seeing the final result. Good luck with the current round of tasks!
