v0.1 Progress

I've been making some good progress on v0.1 over the last couple of days and wanted to keep you guys updated on what's been done and what's still to go.
First, I've finished the sex descriptions for all 7 basic sex positions that are in the game right now. There's a decent amount of randomization and customization in each position so that each round of sex is different, but this will be one of the key areas to add content to going forward.
Second, serum traits got some more attention. I've added support for more dynamic serum effects, and made use of that to add a pair of serum traits that will grow or shrink a characters breasts. There are a ton of different serum traits I'll be looking to add to the game now that I've got more robust support for it.
There are a bunch of other changes scattered throughout the game as well now: changes to how arousal and sluttiness interact, more response lines for each character, serum traits now follow a tech tree style progression when researching them, and others I'm probably forgetting.
Going forward I have three key areas I want to focus on to get v0.1 ready for a public release:
1) Adding non-sex character interactions. Things like bribing people to have sex with you, asking them to stay late at work, or just flirting to raise sluttiness a little at a time.
2) Add a new personality type. I'm going to be writing up character responses for a more reserved "Mother" type personality for the game.
3) Tidy up menus and backgrounds. Major UI work is going to wait until v0.2, but I want to make sure all the information that is needed to play the game is available, and that it is all legible and relatively intuitive to find.
It feels good to make progress on this list bit by bit, and now that the holidays are over I should have more time to devote to getting work done!

2018-01-09 04:00:36 +0000 UTCTime of year would be relatively easy to implement, so as we get farther along in development I might put that in. For now there's no mechanical difference between locations other than the actions associated with them and the objects located in them. The main page will be updated when v0.1 of LR2 is released, which I hope to do in a week or so.

I figure that some of the locations that you as the PC can visit will be done outside, do you plan on having a time of year mechanic, and a weather mechanic to go with your game? Or will it be like LR1, where it's always sunny? Also any idea when your going to update your main page with images from LR2?

2018-01-05 06:05:14 +0000 UTCThe actual rendering for the HS models would have been order of magnitudes quicker (a couple of seconds for each image, instead of minutes), but it wouldn't have provided any of the support I needed to automate the rest of the process. That probably means it would have taken a lot more human time, and more severely limited what sort of effects I could generate.

2018-01-03 05:33:22 +0000 UTCHmmm.... Two things: 1) Just curious - not suggesting, but if you stuck with the HoneySelect models, would there be much of a rendering/time savings? And 2), I have at least 4 Intel boxes in my basement, collecting dust. They range from 3 to 10 years old. Pretty sure that all have graphics cards installed - Probably ATI. Would one of those boxes help? You'd probably have to wipe the hardrive and install it from scratch. Let me know if you think it might help..
