v0.1.0 Debugging Progress
Added 2018-01-16 07:18:38 +0000 UTCI'm hard at work right now debugging v0.1.0 of Lab Rats 2, and I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who's submitted a bug report to me. I've taken care of all of the big ones, and I'm currently hot on the trail of a few truly strange ones, if they turn out to be interesting I may do a full post picking apart exactly what was happening with them.
One of the major things that was caught was the fact that a newly added pose was missing images for ~15% of all of the possible bodyshapes/breast sizes. That seems to have been an error in my automated rendering software that I've corrected, and I currently have the missing images being rendered. Once that's finished and I have a chance to edit them and get them into the game tomorrow I will be releasing a bug fixed version of v0.1.0 (to be titled v0.1.0a).
Looking past that, this Friday will be the first public release of Lab Rats 2. Aside from all of the bug fixing, I'm going to be looking at implementing the single biggest quality of life change possible: replacing the stupid clicking navigation system. My current plan is to replace it with a travel map that appears when you press "Go somewhere else."
