v0.4 Progress: Adding sex position images.
Added 2018-04-10 06:40:58 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I'm here with a quick update on what I'm working on for Lab Rats 2. My test batch of low quality renders finished tonight (actually it finished a few nights ago, but some images were not being generated correctly and had to be redone). The next step is to get them integrated with LR2 and make sure everything is layering as I expect it to.
While I'm working on that code I'm going to keep my computer rendering new sex position image sets. Missionary is rendering right now, after which I'll add kneeling blowjobs and against the wall image sets as well. My hope is to expand the image sets in v0.4 to include most or all of the sex positions currently listed. I'm also continuing to refine my rendering automation, the dream goal is a one click process that renders the requested image sets and drops them in my development folder as I want them. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm getting closer and closer.

On a different note, here's a UI suggestion, which assumes that unavailable options (such as "Talk to someone") have been changed to be greyed out rather than just disappear. The suggestion is that some greyed out actions should include an explanation for why they are greyed out. The obvious example is the "give her a dose of serum" option, which should say something like "you need the Mandatory Serum Policy". Lot's of people having been struggling with this, and there's no more effective place to include this kind of info than in the button itself.
