Bugfixing and Prototyping Week
Added 2018-07-20 09:04:14 +0000 UTCv0.7 is now out for the standard week of patron bug testing, which as usually means it's time for prototyping week! In addition to fixing up bugs that are found in the new version of the game I will be testing out new features for future development as well as adding new content that is unlikely to affect the stability of the game.
If you check the most recent development roadmap here you'll see that the v0.8 update is devoted towards adding a proper introduction, storyline, and tutorial to Lab Rats 2. For this prototyping week I want to get a framework in place to support all of that. First, that will mean getting more clothing options and accessories rendering for use new pre-generated NPC's (some of which will be seeing a return from Lab Rats 1). Second, I want to add support for special "roles" that characters can fill. These will include special dialogue unique to the roll/personality combination and special actions that only that role has linked to them. For example, you may assign a head lab assistant who shows up for important story line events with linked dialogue for them.
As v0.8 is planned to be a large content addition update I would also like to get a head start and begin planning out new crises to add to the game that will make the game feel more alive. In particular I will be looking to add ones that make corruption of employees more valuable as the game move forward to encourage you to corrupt your employees.
As usual if you run into any bugs please let me know by leaving a comment here or by sending me a message directly. I've already squashed a few crashes and gameplay errors and I'd like to track down some more!

Girls will reset their uniform/outfit to it's standard appearance if they feel it is too slutty. Each instance of cum adds a +10 sluttiness modifier, so they are probably resetting immediately after having sex. I'll think of a better way to telegraph this to the player so their actions are more apparent.

2018-07-22 05:58:59 +0000 UTCHow about a new policy where we can improve hiring contracts for a minimum amount of days that have to pass before the player can fire an employee for no reason, or more importantly that the employee can't quit work to dedicate her life to yoga or something like that!

2018-07-22 00:58:52 +0000 UTCGirls actually no longer prune outfits from their wardrobe (I think I left some comments hanging around by accident that suggested they still did. I've removed those where I could find them). Girls now keep their initial wardrobe and each day will select a random outfit from the subset of outfits that they consider appropriate. As sluttiness increases you should see girls select sluttier outfits occasionally. I have internal support for setting sluttiness minimums as well but haven't done anything with them yet, mainly because I want to make sure girls are always able to assemble some sort of outfit right now.

2018-07-20 20:28:30 +0000 UTCAnother bug for you. Some items dont reflect their sulttinesd levels for example a tank top(+3) + a miniskirt (+5) comes up at 31 for overwear sulttiness. Meanwhile if you add a plain bra and panties the full outfit is only 8 sulttiness. Like wise for the thin dress. And the bathrobe and night gown flat dont reflect there sultiness at all. The +3 nightgown is 43 sulttiness with plain underwear and The +1 bath robe is 21. Meanwhile as over wear the are 43 and 41 respectively

2018-07-20 20:16:22 +0000 UTCit does not seem like the breast enhancement does something, unless it is the trait in first place on the serum i mean to say that it seems it matters in what order you add traits to a serum. If you add breast enhancement to a serum and it is not in the first place, it will appear in the serum description, but when you give it to a girl, the text popup will not contain the breast enhancement, the girl will not get the growing breast effect in the review staff menu and unsurprisingly the girl will not grow larger breast a way to fix this currently in the game is to put the breast enhancement effect as first in the list, it seems to work after that just fine

2018-07-20 18:50:13 +0000 UTCHey, I've noticed something in poking around the code that I'm not sure if it's intentional or not. You've got a "slutty" outfit in the generated list, but you've got a prune function that automatically removes outfits that the girl judges as unacceptable. I haven't looked at the sluttiness requirement on that outfit, but have observed that it never appears in game. I think it'd be a fun addition to the game if girls would adjust their wardrobes as their sluttiness increases. The challenge from a gameplay perspective is that you can either use uniforms, which are not technically part of their wardrobe, or you have to have their obedience over 120 to modify.
