v0.8 Bug Fixing Continues
Added 2018-08-24 05:23:29 +0000 UTCv0.8.0 is out in the field and getting a thorough shakedown by patrons right now - it's clear that I was a little tired when I wrote some sections of code. I've fixed up a couple of bugs related to the last level of serum research, it should both display it's requirements properly now as well as allow you to progress when you have characters meeting the requirements. A crash that occurred when assigning clothing to someone directly has also been fixed.
Normally I use this week between patron and public release to prototype new features, but unfortunately this time I have run into a number of real life responsibilities that I have to take care of. Instead I will be focusing on crushing any bugs that people shake out of the game and getting a few new clothing objects and poses into the game. I've got a test render of some glasses coming out soon that I'll be looking over to see if they have gone well. I'm hoping to go through old events/crises and make use of some of the new poses added to give a little more life to the character models.
That's all for now, back to digging through code for me!

Changed so that girls are only paid on work days (and some support added for modifying workdays or schedules in the future).

2018-08-27 04:44:29 +0000 UTCHi, I download the lab rats 2 public game for android, and everytime I go to the map the game crash. This makes the game abit unplayable since I have to save whenever I want to get into the map. If the next version can fix that, it would be fantastic. Thanks

2018-08-26 20:19:08 +0000 UTCa minor thing, the tooltip of Breast Reduction says adds: Growing Breasts (maybe also check if the message when drinking the thing is also correct, i cant check since i never created a breast reduction serum...) also a personal request, in the menus like trade serum between inventories, or when setting production lines (or when marking serum to be sold i guess), please add buttons to move +10 and -10 serums, i usually set the auto-sell threshold to around 60 serums or more, depending on the amount of employees, and at some points i consider getting some autoclicker app for those times... also now that there are free weekends, i am encouraged to hold even bigger reserves of serums. I kind of like how employees continue to take their serum doses even on weekends, because they dont have to be at work to follow their "prescription" ;) maybe add crises when someone is not obedient/loyal enough and does not take their doses in their free time, or they are just too much of a bimbo to remember regarding the whole thing about employees getting paid for weekends, maybe add a system where employees are paid by the week, maybe on the monday everyone gets paid. Just make the current salary system hidden and let it add up until the pay day when it hands out the accumulated credit earned by the employee. With that system it should be possible to simulate days off, on these days the employees just wont gain anything towards their salaries, or they get a reduced amount, maybe based on company policy? also it gives me an idea where employees may ask for days off or overtime, or forward payment. I dont know how difficult these crises would be to implement, but it is just an idea of how to further manipulate work time for the employees (by overtime, i dont necessarily mean just work on weekends, it could be also coming to work earlier, or staying late(morning and night time periods), these might also be some of the options for solving a crises, you want fee time? work extra hours to cover it for example) also one option to make more meaningful company policies, is to introduce a more interactive system where you dont just upgrade your recruitment, but the size of the roster and the quality of potential employees is affected by ingame decisions, for instance if there are policies for work on weekends, whether you pay people the daily salary if they are not at work, whether you pay bonuses for overtime work, or even maybe the sluttiness of the required work uniform (maybe make the system first decide the least slutty uniform for each division, than take into the consideration the most slutty one out of the five, since thats the clothes she might have to wear) (also maybe introduce a recruiter role to influence roster of potential employees?) this would need a rework of the current policy system where you can toggle policies back and forth, and it would require some limit on how much you can manipulate the policies, so you cannot abuse the system by toggling policies back and forth base on day to day situation... (maybe introduce flexibility stat, that can be either straight out bought, or is a result of some math formula that considers either your ability of hr division or overall devotion of your employees, this flexibility stat should increase the amount of changes you can make in given time, or reduce the time required to make another change in company policy) and since i already wrote a lot more than i originally intended, i will another thing that keeps me thinking at times and that is that your r&d department is idle once you finish your research, so the best idea that i have at this point of time is to let the r&d department assist other departments , where a reasonable fraction of the research points, they would normally create, would be used to multiply the end result of the chosen division, say you assign them to assist marketing or supply procurement and lets say they help analyse the market and help get more supplies for the same amount of money and more money for the same serums, as for the production, i dont have a logical thing they could do, so i guess just add their production values to the production pool (i would still prefer this over the juggling of personal based on the available research...) and if they assist the hr, maybe have them help boost the efficiency past the 100%, but that may be broken so i dont know :S, anyway at the beginning i mentioned that for the calculation there should be a "reasonable fraction" used for the calculations, this fraction might differ with each division, in case of hr, my idea is that the assistance might need to be really inefficient to ovoid making the bonus bigger than employing actual hr people

2018-08-24 22:57:19 +0000 UTCI may be wrong, but this sounds like something that happened to me. You may be trying to select the candidate using the buttons on the left side of the screen, but the correct buttons are on the right side. I do remember I found the wording on those buttons confusing.
