When the I first added dynamic colouring for clothing into Lab Rats 2 I put together a quick menu of eight preset colours that the player could select from. At the time I intended to expand it to allow for any colour the user wanted, but my focus ended up getting pulled away to other parts of the game before I could get it implemented. Tonight I decided to fix that and give the player full colour control access for clothing.
There have actually been a ton of improvements and changes in the clothing designer. The most obvious is that the player can set whatever clothing colour they want: they define the RGB components at the bottom then click on the clothing item they want to add. Hovering over the item still previews the item as before in the correct colour. The entries on the remove item list on the right side correctly map to the colour of that clothing item. A very nice quality of life change that you can't see is that the clickable area of the buttons now take up the entire button visual instead of being limited to the text area. It makes clicking the buttons much more pleasant.
There are a few more things I want to tweak, like the clothing name style and size, as well as add a few user defined preset slots, but for the most part I am happy with how this redesign went!
