v0.10 Release Schedule and Roadmap Adjustment

First up, an exciting announcement: The bug testing release of v0.10 will be on the night of Oct 24th! The updating is bringing a few changes to the sex system of LR2, a bunch of highly improved menu screens, improved character reactions, and a completely new "opinions" system that helps make every character a little bit unique. I'm excited to get it into the hands of my awesome bug testing patrons so I can get it into the hands of the public at the end of the month!

Second, I am making an adjustment to the road map I released back around v0.8.1, which you can take a look at here. The central goal for v0.10 was to rework the sex system to make it more dynamic, involve more player input and choice, and in general just make it more interesting. The changes made so far have certainly improved things, but I've begun to notice that the current written content (sex positions, personality conversation permutations, that sort of thing) is getting spread very thin. I will be bumping everything in the development roadmap back a cycle and dedicating the next update cycle to writing new content everywhere I possibly can, mostly focusing on adding new sex positions, variations on existing positions, and player options within sex positions.

To go along with this new update I will be using the week between the public and patron release of v0.10 (traditionally my prototyping week for experimenting with new features) to improve my rendering automation. Top of the list is to re-render all of the existing faces with eyes fixed on the camera, as well as add a collection of new facial designs to help characters feel a little more distinct. I will also be adding and testing support for rendering makeup and tattoos, with the goal of rendering them out while I am writing the new content for v0.11.

P.S. I'm sorry there haven't been any game design or technical posts in a while; this last month has been keeping me particularly busy and they tend to fall to the back of the queue. I do have something planned for the near future though!
