Even More LR2 v0.11 Writing Progress

I've been working on expanding all of the existing sex positions with new conditional sections, player choice, and adding new random segments. These additions are turning out to be pretty large; one of the old blowjob branches was about 10 lines, the new version of it is over 100 lines long. The first step to writing all of this was to develop a general framework, to help me be consistent across all of the different positions and provide interesting writing for all of it. Here's how I'm currently doing things:
1) Each position has at least two randomly selected descriptions called when you're having sex in that position. I give each of these a very rough scenario, like "standard doggy style fucking", "needs a break from blowing you", or "she looks up at you while deepthroating you".
2) Most scenarios are broken down by the girls sex skill, giving you an "experienced" branch and an "inexperienced" branch. The experienced branch describes the girl as knowing what she's doing (even if she doesn't like it, if she has a poor opinion of the position for example). The inexperienced branch describes the girl bumbling through it as best she can.
3) Each scenario then presents you with a choice of two paths. There is no clear right or wrong path, but each produces a different result and may touch on different character traits or opinions. The choice might be "talk dirty" to a girl while she gives you a blowjob instead of "Force her deeper". Some choices reveal a girls character traits, have unique dialogue for certain opinions, and/or give bonus happiness, arousal, or sluttiness. Knowing a girls opinions will help you make educated guesses about what choices to pick, and just exploring the options is interesting.
Once the standard positions are all done I will be adding a few more to help fill out the glaring gaps (tit fucking, fingering, giving head, and anal all need to be addressed). Depending on how fast that process goes I would like to look at the intro and outro scenes and add some more variation to them as well as write more scenarios for all of the positions.

I agree that the UI needs some improvement, I'll keep iterating over it and making it better. I'll also see if I can recreate that bug and get it fixed up!

The UI for changing clothing when talking to a girl seems to be designed for uniforms, not for dressing (or undressing...) an individual girl. It's hard to get the set just right. Wouldn't it be possible to pre-populate the dialog with the clothes a girl is wearing, to allow, say, swapping a t-shirt for a tank-top? I'm tired of seeing "On second thought, nevermind." all the time... The game eventually allows me to progress, but the clothing issue is frustrating. Also, after removing uniform requirements, the girls keep dressing slutty and refusing requests as a result, is that a bug? I had to revert to a saved game to get rid of the uniforms. I love the overall gameplay!

Some branches result in minor changes in arousal, sluttiness, etc., usually based on character opinions. "Talk dirty to her." is an option that I've used for this choice a few times now. Characters who like being submissive are likely to have boost to arousal when you talk dirty to them; characters who dislike being submissive are likely to be offended.

When I get some free time I'll be working on integrating the clothing opinion stuff with the code girls use to generate their outfits so they pay a little more attention to their likes and dislikes.

2018-11-09 19:46:52 +0000 UTCWhat's the deal with the duration of a serum (lasting an extended 5 turns) but it not persisting to the next day? ie: a 5-turn serum given in the afternoon or evening will still be "No Active Serums" the next morning.

Would also be nice if a girl with the "Hates (color)" and/or "Hates (skirt/pants)" traits didn't *choose* those to wear and then get upset (loose happiness) about wearing them! LOL!! This is especially annoying when you assign 2 or 3 Work Uniform versions to a department to allow for the traits of key employees and the keep choosing the 1 version they *hate* and you can't keep them happy. Also - would like to add my 'vote' for some 'girl on top' options!
