New Seduction Mechanics and Lots of Future Dialogue Work
Added 2020-03-24 09:31:15 +0000 UTCMy last few days have been spent hammering out the specifics of the new seduction mechanics for Lab Rats 2. The old "seduce" button has been replaced by three unique avenues for seducing someone: groping, commanding, and flirting. These three options correspond roughly with Sluttiness, Obedience, and Love. Each one is made available once you have a small amount of the relevant stat (or slightly above average, for Obedience) and has a few variants/options until you reach a point where you enter the normal sex system (at around 30 Sluttiness, 125 Obedience, or 30 Love).
The "Command" branch has ended up being a natural place to put a number of existing options that had you exercise some sort of control over a girl. Actions like demanding (rather than asking) a girl to drink a dose of serum are now in here, as well as changing her wardrobe.
The improvement to the seduction system has created a lot of sections in the game that should really have personality specific dialogue. Unfortunately that writing is going to take some time and will likely have to wait until the Patron testing week or the next update cycle. I have been able to work on the taboo break dialogue for Gabrielle and Rebecca, with one finished and the other about half done at this point. I also want to go back to the default personality taboo breaks and add some special case dialogue for cases where you're dating someone, they're cheating on someone, or when you're in public. Lots of work, but all in interesting sections of the game!

2020-03-25 20:55:52 +0000 UTCVren, The administrator for the HentHighSchool forum is willing to support mods for Lab Rats 2, site is: https://www.henthighschool.com/index.php#c9 (hope I'm not breaking a rule by posting this so you can see it). What I'm asking for is a folder like what Brothel King has, though we would have a sticky saying "Original game is at" and your patreon page, and would have a rule that only mods, not the original game, could be posted. Folks can put individual files to overwrite your base code, but could not post a full set of files. Does that sound good? We can work on the exact wording of the sticky once there is something to work on.

2020-03-25 14:21:30 +0000 UTCHonestly biggest block I always get into the game is the 'home lock' It just gets to a point of the game where i'm in the characters room, I hit to go elsewhere and it just freezes. Nothing releases the freeze. Regardless if I spawn a event, skip a day or interact with a character.
