Lol this is so horrifying and EXACTLY the reason I can't bring myself to touch code. Good on you though for doing something so ambitious despite your skill level, that's how you get better quick!

Once, with less than elementary understanding of coding, I decided to create my own character in a game. The creation process had me use programs I've never used nor fathomed before, from audio editing for the character's voice to the use of image editors like photoshop. However I managed to grasp both in time, with the latter thanks to my amazing MS Paint skills, but then I reached the coding part, where most of the code consisted of the lines spoken by the character, being ambitious while knowing my limitations I opted to only edit the speech and not fiddle with the concept of adding any new mechanics to the character, and being an avid writer on my own I've managed to go through writing around two thousand lines of speech in a manner that I felt fit the character. However, when I finally reached the finishing touches(with consistent test runs) I was given an error message that simply stated that something was wrong with the speech file. I spent the following two weeks tirelessly(fuly) rewriting my work while trying to spot the error I've made by then I was past the point of tears and had begun spiraling into madness, almost violently testing the mod after every single time I've edited the files. Finally I realised that I simply added one. individual. comma. at the end of one of the lines. The eldritch knowledge that I gained failed to relieve my pain.
