your scan is too large as in scale not point heavy, I had to scale my pc down in xyz to 0.0002 in TD using transform for the threshold to take effect. use the example file as an example scale to work with.

2024-08-19 21:44:54 +0000 UTCSame problem here, when i loaded in the example ply, it works,but not with my imported model.. i figured it has something to do with the xyz size or resolution that ply file contains which interfere with the threshold value, adding a math TOP in front of the threshold seems to work but not after adding feedback..any other ways to select points or how to normalized ply file's input?

2024-02-07 13:58:23 +0000 UTCUm, thank you for your patience. This is indeed a rare problem. Apart from Setchfab, I don’t know if there is any other channel to obtain files in this format. I am indeed troubled by the source of the file. I am now Having scannable objects didn't satisfy me, I wanted some magnificent models, but all I had around me was my room and my dog. Maybe using blender to convert file formats isn't the best method in itself? Do you know where I can download models that support these?

2024-01-25 15:28:58 +0000 UTCI don’t know actually, I don’t have much experience with that. But make sure you are exporting the positions and colors. Have you tried using the channels you do have?

2024-01-25 15:14:19 +0000 UTCMaybe try using those… are there no other channels available. it sounds odd, since it seems like those are normals. But maybe it’s just named incorrectly. Or maybe you need to export your pointcloud in another way.

2023-11-06 03:00:14 +0000 UTCYeah, that happens when the color and position operator have different resolutions. It could be two things. Make sure you drag and drop the new point cloud to the select point file TOP. And then press 1 to reset the feedback loop (so it grabs the new resolution ) Send me a dm if the problem persists
