I've been thinking lately about ways to make this patreon just a bit more worthwhile. I know there have been requests for a lot of other things like a discord and other community features, and to be honest, I still don't see those things happening for reasons I've gotten into before.
BUT
I have been enjoying having more moments and opportunities to share the creative process and activities with you all, whether that be early looks or the movie club sessions. Also, since being off twitter I have kind of missed having ways to just brain dump and be silly with folks. I do that a bit on the side channel, but I'm going to be doing that more here in the future.
That said, I wanted to share this video as a preview for what will come for July's video as I make a return to some overtly political content for the first time in a while (i needed the break lol).
One thing i do for a lot of my videos is create like... idk soundtracks for them in my head and spirit. I've talked in other situations how hip hop is very influential to my writing process. I literally try to structure my writing in the spirit of battle rap a lot of times. So when i write i often will have a few songs on rotation that evoke the energy I want a piece to have. Content warning for those not prepred for some pretty vile images early this morning.
This song is a dead give away for what the July video is going to be about, something I've been meaning to get into for a while. It will also be the subject of our next movie club that will mee late July.

TLDR i have a very specific perspective on the topic you mentioned you are working on about ytness being a lie (and how it clashes with other instersections) and would honored to do an interview for your vid or even just talk about this shit because this position is so fucking isolating and often misunderstood but i have no platform whatsoever nor do i really want one. Hey FD, im a long time fan and trans dyke antifa anarchist who was raised yt but rejects that poisonous lie (my ancestors are irish and french, but "my people" are just trans folks). I have a lot of shit to say about how our mutual oppressors tried to force me to be one of them, but in terms of gender and in terms of racism. Im also a pig r-pe survivoe which is a very complicated situation when everyone assumes I dont have anything to fear from the pigs and such. I have lots of organizing experience amd honestly your stuff is more academic than my comfort zone but i do have a polisci degree. I'm inclined towards Afropessimism with regard to my, idk, lens through which i try to understand Black liberation movements fwiw. The point being, I know you said you were doing a video on "whiteness isnt real", and i didnt know how to contact you other than here but if you want to interview someone who has been in the deep end of this specific subject for years, please let me know. Id be honored and super thrilled.
