Talking to Parvathy, you might now have some understanding of why the question was raised on recent Malayalam films and lack of good writing on women. Its there all over India but for an industry that prides itself on high concept content, it's interesting that 50% of the population i.e women are not part of many really really good scripts. We (stupid babies) are struggling to get you more than 5 films led by the legend Urvashi even though she has been part of over 300 in her career because until now, no one was writing keeping her phenomenal talent in mind. People like Parvathy were pulled down and beaten down (metaphorically) for just raising questions. Kudos to her good work and to you for letting those aspects come out in your interview.
