I am a person who dates polyamorously and my last relationship was polyamorous and it lasted 4 years. I agreed to date this guy monogamously but we said we were going to open up the relationship after we talked about his boundaries and comfort zone. Recently I tried to talk to him about it and he completely shut down. Do you have any suggestions for speaking about this with him in a way that wonโt make him feel like I donโt think he is enough, or that heโs going to lose me if we open up?
