Something I am loving is the fact I am halfway done my final nursing placement and I will be graduating this summer! It feels amazing to accomplish something as I will be the first person in my immediate family to graduate with a University degree. I am taking this as a W and proving my high school guidance counselor who told me I won't be able to go to University. Once done school I will be studying for my other nursing license exam and once completed I would like to work in Public Health more specifically sexual health so I can help the vulnerable populations seek medical attention and services like, contraceptives, safe needle exchange sites, provide youth and adult with prophylactic medications. It may not happen but once I graduate I will be able to work anywhere in the world so I have a ton more opportunities.

2025-02-08 14:49:36 +0000 UTCHonestly I've been loving life lately. I'm a high school senior graduating in May so 2025 is an exciting year for me and I can't even imagine where I'll be in 6 months. But ever since the year started I feel like I've just been hit with so much good on top of good! For starters I'm doing amazing in all of my classes. I was already doing great last semester but I had two where I was sort of struggling, but it's like something suddenly clicked and now I'm doing amazing in everything. Also, the rest of my college decisions come out next month and honestly I'm not even nervous, just super excited to see what I'll get. I know exactly what I want to study and I have some pretty good options already, but if things don't work out I really don't mind staying home and going to my state school (love having options and backup plans!). I also found out I'm a US Presidential Scholar candidate! To be part of the few thousand among the millions of seniors in the nation was so unexpected but such a huge mood boost. I also have so many activities planned with my friends, we don't see each other much outside of school but the other day we went out to get food and it just felt so freeing being able to go out on our own and do things like that. I'm feeling so optimistic and I'm just so grateful for everything that's happened so far this year. I know there's so much more to come and I cannot wait! :)
