The Bet 4

Jaune felt like he was about to die.

He knew his luck was getting too good for karma not to notice.

Kissing three wonderful and beautiful women had to have some consequences.

The world wouldn’t be fair otherwise.

But as he felt his stomach do backflips, all Jaune could think about was that karma was a bitch.

And karma must have heard him because the airship they were flying in suddenly shook.

“Hold on! We’re just hitting some turbulence!” Their pilot announced through the speakers as murmurs flooded throughout the passengers.

Jaune, however, only tasted vomit at the back of his throat. Bravely swallowing it down, he groaned loudly with a green face.

“Are….Are we there yet?”

“Soon, Jaune, soon.” Pyrrha answered, rubbing his back comfortably from beside him.

He only leaned forward, however, as he struggled to keep the contents of his breakfast from leaving his mouth.

“You can do it Jaune!” Ruby shouted from across the aisle, and Jaune would have blushed if he was able to.

As it was, however, Jaune could only groan as his peers looked at him.

“Yeah, VB! Don’t puke now!” Yang called out from beside Ruby, but Jaune could see the worried look in her face.

He sent her a weak smile, and it gave him pleasure to see her cheeks take on a rosy tint.

“It would certainly be a mess and ruin your growing image.” Blake quipped, getting Yang to quiet down with a small squeak as she looked away from him.

Ha! Despite being nauseous from his motion sickness, he still got it!

If he could spare the energy to look past Yang, he would’ve nodded at Blake. Ever since their kiss in the library, well, Jauen has noticed Blake becoming more outspoken, loud, and generally warm towards him.

Jaune didn’t know if it was because he acquitted himself well during their makeout session or if it was because he was actively fighting against racism one bet at a time. Regardless, he was not about to complain.

Just like how he can’t complain with Ruby suddenly bursting beside him in a shower of petals.

“Here! I’ll give you a good luck charm!”

Lips made contact with his cheek, and Jaune couldn’t help but smile as Ruby sped back to her seat.

“Ruby!” Yang shrieked, but Ruby only laughed as Blake added her thoughts to it.

“Would it help if I give Jaune a good luck kiss too?”

Eyes immediately snapped towards the dark-haired member of Team RWBY.

“Blake?! You as well?!” Weiss screeched with wide eyes as she looked at her teammate before looking at Jaune.

At that point, what could he do but shrug helplessly. He only saw Blake laugh at them, even as Yang poked her with a shoulder.

“Yeah, partner, since when have you been chummy with Jaune?” Yang asked, smiling with too many teeth as she looked at her partner.

Blake, however, only smirked at her.

“Since he kissed you.”

Yang choked on air as the rest of the passengers snapped towards them.

Him kissing Yang was done in public, so it was no surprise that the event would spread through Beacon’s rumor mill. That didn’t stop people from not believing in it, though.

And yet with Blake confirming it for all to hear, everyone turned to him in either awe, disbelief, or jealousy.

Yang stared at him with a red face, again, however, Jaune could only look back at her with a green one.

Mercifully, blessedly, his ordeal ended as the pilot’s voice rang out again.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have arrived at the landing zone near Forever Fall.”

That’s right, they were at Forever Fall. To gather sap of all things for Professor Peach as an exercise for their Combat Class.

Apparently, it was meant to simulate missions out in the field where they had to locate things instead of just killing Grimm.

Jaune thought that was bullshit, but hey, he faked his transcripts to Beacon, what did he know?

And besides, he had far more worrying matters at hand than to worry about whether this was a legitimate exercise for them or not.

The airship shook as it landed and puke threatened to come up off his throat, even as Professor Goodwitch exited the cockpit to brief them.

She was speaking, Jaune knew that. But all he could hear was his blood pounding through his ears as he tried to calm his stomach down.

Eventually, he managed to tame it as he took deep breaths while Pyrrha rubbed comforting circles on his back.

Looking towards her, he saw worried green eyes staring back at him. Despite the chaos Team RWBY was brewing, she stayed focused beside him.

“Thanks, Pyr, but I’m okay now.” He said both to appease her and to trick himself into thinking that he really was okay now. “I think I’ll go get some fresh air.”

He took a deep breath and stood up with the rest of the passengers as Professor Goodwitch directed them to walk outside.

He pushed his way across the crowd to get outside first, and as everyone seemed to know his problem with motion sickness, they parted for him without a fusd.

His boots hit the ground and finally breathing some fresh air, Jaune smiled as he managed not to puke during the ride.

It was an achievement. A step to overcoming his motion sickness.

And a pathway to getting kudos from his friends.

“Way to go, Jaune! I knew that good luck charm would work!” Ruby greeted, winking as she clapped his back.

Jaune laughed.

Ever since he kissed her on the cheek and then kissed her sister in plain view, Ruby was a lot more free with giving him kisses.

Always on the cheek, though.

Never on the lips.

And Jaune was satisfied with it being that way.

He didn’t want to push his luck considering Ruby was underage in the first place.

And besides, he didn’t actually know how Yang would react to that.

Sure, she wasn’t really doing anything hard to stop Ruby from giving him kisses on the cheek, but Jaune didn’t want to push his luck too much.

He was already lucky as it was.

“Good job, VB.” Yang nodded, stepping up beside her sister as their eyes locked with each other.

Jaune felt heat rush up his cheeks, but he knew what was up.

She was challenging him, measuring him up and down to see what was up. For what reason, Jaune did not want to assume, but he was not going to be found wanting.

And so, he held his ground and sent Yang a smirk.

It got the effect he wanted.

Yang snapped her gaze away with a cough and a blush on her cheeks.

He jolted, however, when he felt another pat on his back.

“That was quite a show. Well done.” Blake smiled at him before walking past as Ruby led the way excitedly.

“See you in the forest, Jaune!”

“Yeah, what she said.” Yang added hesitantly before walking away, but not before brushing his arm with hers.

Goosebumps immediately crept up his skin, and he could only give Yang a mute nod before instantly freezing as Weiss stepped up beside him.

“I’m watching you, Arc.” She said as cold blue eyes glared at him.

That is, of course, until Blake called out from in front of them.

“Careful, Weiss! He might kiss you next!”

Inexplicably, they both looked away at the same time as blushes tinted their cheeks.

“As if!” Weiss snapped, and Jaune could only laugh awkwardly as Blake winked at him.

He watched as Team RWBY walked, and was it just his imagination, or were Blake and Yang swaying their hips?

So focused was he on the sight in front of him that he did not notice Pyrrha pouting behind him.

“I was the one rubbing his back, though.”

“What was that, Pyr?” Jaune turned around, hearing Pyrrha mumble but not understanding the words.

“...Nothing.” She replied as she marched past him to his own surprise.

“Woah, wait up!” He called out, but before he could even follow, he felt a shoulder shove him to the ground.

He gasped as he fell on his knees, and looking upward, he saw Cardin smirking at him as he and the rest of his team stomped past him.

“Poor form, Jauney-boy. Poor form.”

His fists clenched, and Jaune grinded his teeth, even as another hand pulled him up.

“You okay there, Jaune?” Ren asked, watching as Jaune dusted himself off.

“Yeah, I’m good. Just a bit dizzy from the ride, I guess. Thanks, Ren.” He deflected, not wanting to drag any of his teammates to his beef with Cardin.

He jolted, however, when a hand patted his shoulder.

“Cardin’s right, though. That was mean of you, Fearless Leader.” Nora pouted, but Jaune could only blink at her in confusion.

“Wait what? Why? Is it my stance? Pyrrha always said I had a poor stance.”

Nora, however, only shook her head at him in pity. “Poor, poor Pyrrha.”

Jaune watched gobsmacked as his bubbly teammate left him.

That only left him and Ren, however, and Jaune took the opportunity to look at the only fellow male in his friend group for help.

Again, however, another of his teammate only shook their head disappointedly at him.

“For someone who can kiss a woman, you sure are dense.”

“Wait, what?! What do you mean, Ren?”

Ren, however, only walked forward as Jaune continued to call out to him.

“Ren, what do you mean?!”

—----

Pyrrha’s smile stayed plastered to her face, even if all she wanted to do was bash someone’s face in.

Whose face, you might ask?

She didn’t know…..

No, that was a lie.

She knew whose.

Jaune’s.

…..and maybe Yang’s.

…..and maybe Ruby’s.

Which, just made her feel bad, but still….

Frustration made it hard to breathe as she remembered Jaune’s interactions with them.

Why? Why did she have to fall in love with such a himbo?

Her mind flashed towards his smile and immediately…..Pyrrha flushed.

It was worse than before.

Ever since he kissed Yang in front of them, all Pyrrha could think about was…..was his stupid kissable lips.

And when he asked for training the same day, she thought……she actually thought they were going to train kissing.

Imagine her embarrassment when he didn’t actually plan it like that. In fact, he didn’t actually plan it at all. He just left it to her, and armed with all the frustration and embarrassment in her heart, Pyrrha beat him black and blue.

Shame filled her heart at that. She was angry, jealous, and frustrated, but that was no reason to pour it out on Jaune without him knowing why.

She even disguised his beating as a means of testing his limits and increasing his durability.

Which, in fairness, actually became the point of their training after she vented out her frustration.

Say what you will about Jaune, unskilled, untrained, and as dense as the sun, but he was durable.

It got to the point that he just kept getting up no matter how much Pyrrha beat him, which in itself, was just admirable.

The way his eyes hardened with determination, the swell of his muscles as he breathed and move-

Pyrrha caught herself.

There she was again, thinking about him like that.

Damn her stupid hormones!

Damn her stupidly rapidly beating heart!

And damn those stupid, stupid, kissable lips!

She stomped forward, putting more distance between her and her team as she tried to calm herself.

Tried, being the keyword there.

As it stood, however, Pyrrha just screamed out her frustration.

“ARGHHHHHHHH!”

Leaves shook, birds flew, and Pyrrha breathed deeply as she finally let out her frustration.

“Woah, I didn’t know you could do that.”

Pyrrha turned around immediately, and there he was.

Cardin Winchester walked towards her with the rest of his team.

“What do you want, Cardin?” She snapped, but Cardin only raised his hands defensively with an easy smile on his face.

“Woah, woah. My team and I are just here going to gather the red sap for Professor Peach.”

Pyrrha did not buy it. She did not buy it one bit. They could have chosen any spot in the forest and they chose where she currently was?

She wasn’t worried though because she knew for a fact she could wipe the floor with their entire team.

She only narrowed her eyes, however, as Cardin nodded to his teammates who brought out jars while approaching trees.

“You’re pretty far out from your team.” Cardin noted as he kept walking towards her with that easy smile on his face. “Need someone to point you to the right direction?”

Pyrrha, however, only scoffed at him.

“I can find my way back, Cardin. You don’t need to worry about me.”

It was then, however, did Cardin’s smile turn into something she could only call cruel.

“Oh, but I worry about you, Nikos. Especially considering who your partner is.”

“Jaune?” She muttered incredulously.

She liked the boy, but she could fold him into a pretzel, and immediately, her thoughts turned to folding Jaune into positions no man should ever be in before mounting hi-

Slap!

Pyrrha flushed as her hand slapped her back to reality while Cardin blinked at her.

“Okay? Masochistic tendencies? I did not expect that from you but okay?”

“Cardin, no. Just no.” Pyrrha groaned loudly at that, embarrassment flooding her veins at letting him witness that.

Stupid hormones.

Stupid puberty.

Cardin, however, only shrugged at her as a grin found its way onto his face.

“Hey, hey, we don’t kinkshame here. In fact, I find it pretty ho-”

Schwing!

Immediately, Pyrrha’s spear was already pointed at his face as she glared at him.

“Finish that word and you won’t be finding anything else ever again.”

Credit where credit was due, Cardin got the message.

He reeled back with wide eyes as his hands flew up defensively.

“Woah, woman! You can’t blame me for just shooting my shot!”

She shivered as he had the audacity to look up at her from head to toe. She knew she was beautiful, a lot of people had already said it, but there were just some people she didn’t want appreciating her beauty.

“There is no shooting, Cardin, because there is no shot, okay?” She emphasized, jabbing her spear forward to drive in a point.

Cardin ducked down, his eyes widening before fishing something from his pants.

“Fine, fine, but can you still say that once you see what I’ve got.”

Pyrrha’s nose scrunched up in disgust. As far as advances went, it wasn’t even original.

“Ugh, no. I would rather die than entertain a pig like you.” She rolled her eyes, letting Cardin know just how unwelcome such advances were.

Cardin, however, only widened hisbeyes as he shook his head frantically.

“No, no, no! I meant this!”

And just like that, Pyrrha’s jaw dropped because there in Cardin’s Scroll was Jaune kissing another woman.

“Blake Belladonna.” Cardin informed, smiling smugly as Pyrrha’s face morphed in shock. “You call me a pig but look who is a pig now.”

“It can’t be.” She denied, shaking her head as the image refused to compute in her brain.

Blake and Jaune?

Kissing each other?

As much as she wanted to deny it, however, the logical part of her brain noted that it would explain Blake’s warm behavior to Jaune recently.

“And why not?” Cardin asked maliciously, stepping forward as her eyes stayed transfixed at his Scroll. “You saw him kiss Yang in front of you, and it’s only a matter of time before he makes out with Ruby. What’s stopping him from kissing others as well? Look, he even bragged about it to me!” He grinned and so focused was she on the picture that she jolted when Cardin swung his arm over her shoulders.

Her breath sped up as she continued to stare at the screen in front of her, Cardin, however, had different plans.

“Jaune’s kissing everyone but you.” He whispered, and Pyrrha couldn’t escape the pang of pain that echoed in her heart at that. “So why don’t we ki-”

Before she knew it, she was throwing him over her shoulder.

“Oof!” He gasped, looking up at her in surprise, even as she herself looked at her hands.

Her eyes immediately hardened, however, when she looked back at Cardin.

“Never ever ask me that again.”

Her heart pounded as she marched back towards where she came from.

Cardin was right, however.

Jaune was kissing everyone but her.

And it was time to find out why.

She didn’t look back at Cardin nor his teammates, but if she did, she would have noticed the angry look on his face.

—--

Jaune groaned as sap dripped down his fingers.

Part of him wanted to go after Pyrrha, but he didn’t know why she was even upset in the first place.

He thought it would be prudent to only approach her when he actually knew why and he could solve the problem.

And so it was that Jaune stayed with the rest of his teammates to find out the reason why Pyrrha was upset with him.

“Can you please tell me why already?” He whined piteously, but Ren only answered stoically as he filled his own jar with red sap.

“No, Jaune. You need to answer this by yourself.”

“Hey! Less talking, more working! Mama’s pancake syrup isn’t going to gather itself!” Nora called out imperiously, even as Ren had a reply ready.

“This is for Professor Peach, Nora, not for pancakes.”

“Silly, Renny, some of it is, but the rest of it will be for ours! What? Do you think Professor Peach will actually use all the sap from all the teams?” Nora rolled her eyes before smiling as she actually made a good point.

There were four of them in a team, and each member had to bring back two jars. That meant 8 jars for a team, and considering the number of teams currently running around here? Well, even Professor Peach had to concede that they would bring home too many jars.

Besides, it’s not like they had to stop at two. Nora seemed to have brought more than her fair share of jars for her own personal use.

Jars, which Jaune and Ren had to fill while Nora watched out for the Grimm.

“Ughhh, this would go faster if we had Pyrrha here.” He moaned, and just he said that, bushes rustled from the treeline.

They froze, and Nora grinned maniacally as she brandished Magnhild.

“Please be an Ursa. Please be an Ursa.” She pleaded, but alas, it was not an Ursa.

“Sorry, Nora. It’s just me.”

Pyrrha’s voice rang out as she walked into view.

Immediately, Jaune perked up as Nora groaned before squealing excitedly.

“Pyrrha! You’re back! I mean it would’ve been better if it was an Ursa, but you’re fine too!” Nora called out, leaping forward to greet Pyrrha with a hug.

“I’m sorry for disappointing you, but I’m here to help.” Pyrrha giggled, returning the hug before looking towards them.

Jaune froze, however, when her emerald eyes landed on him.

“H-Hey, you’re back.” He greeted lamely, covering the jar he was holding before leaving it on the ground as he stood up.

Silence, however, was all that greeted him as Pyrrha kept her eyes on him.

She wasn’t glaring or anything like that, in fact, she only smiled politely, but Jaune knew, it was too polite.

Whatever he did, it must’ve been really bad for Pyrrha not to greet him back.

Wind howled around them as both Ren and Nora were now looking at them awkwardly.

Ever the wise one, Ren broke the silence with a loud cough.

“So Nora and I will get some sap over here while the two of you stay here.”

As the leader, it should have been Jaune’s call to make decisions like that, but all he could do was nod as his brother from another mother called out to his partner.

Nora, now sensing the mood as well perked up with wide eyes before a grin overtook her face as she skipped towards Ren.

“Don’t have too much fun, you too! Mama actually needs the sap for syrup!” She called out, leaving them alone.

Jaune knew they were just beyond the treeline beside them. Far enough not to hear their conversation, but close enough to rush to help in case of an emergency.

And judging by how Pyrrha’s gaze suddenly turned cold, Jaune feared there were really was going to be an emergency.

“S-So where have you been?” He started nervously, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head as Pyrrha began walking towards him.

“Around.” She replied, her voice flat as she neared him.

Jaune’s eyes widened as her hand reached out towards him, but before she could touch him, he lunged forward, because there, just behind her, was a jar flying towards her head.

The last thing he saw was red as glass shattered on his head.

—-----

“JAUNE!” Pyrrha shouted, watching in horror as glass rained down her leader.

Everything had happened so fast.

First, she was reaching out to grab him by the neck and wring answers out of him, next thing she knew, he was shoving her away.

Pyrrha was understandably surprised by his movement, so she leaned sideways to dodge him. Little did she know, that’s what he wanted in the first place.

And so here they were now, red sap flowing down Jaune’s face as she heard laughter behind her.

“What happened?! We left you for 5 seconds!” Nora shouted incredulously, leaping in before freezing as she saw the scene.

Pyrrha, however, was too busy fussing over Jaune to explain anything, but she didn’t need to. The scene spoke for itself.

“You’re dead, Cardin!” Nora screamed as Team CRDL fled while still laughing their asses off.

Before Nora could run after them, however, a hand fell on her shoulder.

“Don’t. Jaune needs us here. Remember what Professor Goodwitch said about the sap? It attracts Lancers, Grimm wasps that hunt in swarms.” Ren called out gravely, even as Nora looked at him as if she was in pain.

“B-But Cardin!”

“We can report him later. For now, our priority is Jaune.”

“Guys, I’m okay. It didn’t even hurt.” Jaune called out, blindly reaching out as red sap covered his entire face.

Pyrrha, however, only scowled as she directed him to sit down. “Just because Aura protected you from the shards, doesn’t mean you are okay. Jaune, you can’t even see.”

She would’ve loved to wipe the sap out of his face, but it stuck to it like glue. She was actually afraid she would just hurt him more if she forced the matter.

Pyrrha saw him pout, but she had no time for stubborn fools as she could already hear wings thundering towards them.

“Pyrrha, take care of Jaune. Nora and I can handle the Grimm-”

“No.”

And just like that, they all froze as Jaune’s voice rang out.

It was his leader voice. The one that always got them to pay attention as they all knew he had a plan going on.

And just like before, they all listened as he assessed the situation.

“Ren, how many are there? How many of you are needed to take care of it.”

Ren paused hesitantly before answering as Pyrrha nodded at him. “Just one, but-”

“Good, one of you needs to go back and get Professor Goodwitch. The rest stay here to protect me.”

The three looked at each other at that, and wordlessly, they all moved to follow Jaune’s plan.

“I’ll go. I’m the quickest.” Ren nodded, and off he went running through the forest.

“Nora and I will still here.” Pyrrha answered, informing Jaune of the situation as she brandished Milo into a rifle behind Nora.

“Good, good. Now we wait.” Jaune sighed, sitting on his ass as they all listened for the Grimm to approach.

And less than a minute later the first Lancers were already flying over the trees.

BOOM!

“Here’s Nora!” Nora grinned, leaping into action and smashing Grimm left and right with her warhammer.

For her part, Pyrrha shot those who managed to slip past their chaotic friend, and between the two of them, it took no time at all for them to eradicate the swarm.

They stayed on guard, listening to their surroundings, but as only the wind greeted them back, they relaxed.

“Is that it?” Jaune asked, still sitting down and breathing deeply as he tried to wipe the sap away from his face in vain.

“We can’t relax completely, but that’s it for now.” Pyrrha nodded before looking at Nora. “Nora, why don’t you get some water we can heat up? I think I heard a river just past here. We can use it to wipe the sap out of Jaune’s face.

“On it!” Nora smiled, bounding off towards the direction where Pyrrha came back from in the first place.

She breathed deeply, kneeling in front of Jaune as she looked at him with curiosity.

“Tell me, how bad is it?” He asked, keeping his head down as she reached a hand towards his face.

To be honest, Pyrrha didn’t know how to feel right now.

She remembered her anger, confusion, and jealousy, of course, she even remembered the small amount of fear she felt at realizing she didn’t know Jaune at all.

Was he a pervert all along? A womanizer that just kissed girls? And if so, what did it say about her that he didn’t even try to kiss her?

At the same time, however, she remembered how he pushed her away from harm. How he made a plan on the fly, even with his eyes closed.

Say what you will about Jaune Arc, he may have his weaknesses but he also had his strengths.

Her hand found the sticky sap caking his cheeks, and she breathed deeply as she answered his previous question.

“It’s not good. We could try wiping your face with some warm water, but I doubt we could remove the ones in your hair today.”

“Redhead for a day, huh? Do you think we could match?” He quipped with a wry laugh, and Pyrrha couldn’t help but let out a smile at that.

Even now, he could make her feel easy despite the situation they were in. It was one of the reasons she liked him.

And with that thought, her mind turned towards darker paths, and her mouth moved on their own.

“You kissed Blake.”

Her breath stopped.

Jaune’s did as well.

And all you could hear between them was the passing of the wind as they rustled the leaves of the trees.

That was, of course, until Jaune sighed resignedly.

“Cardin told you, didn’t he?”

“I ran into him in the forest earlier. He showed me a picture.” Pyrrha nodded, and she watched as he slumped in defeat.

“Figures. Blake would never tell a soul, and I didn’t tell you. So it had to be him.”

“Why, Jaune? I thought you liked Weiss, but then you kissed Yang. Now your kissing Blake as well?” She frowned, but Jaune only groaned at her.

“It’s complicated.”

“Then uncomplicate it. You even sent a picture to Cardin, Jaune. Were you just bragging about it?” She replied, giving him an unimpressed look despite the fact that he currently could not see it.

“I guess…..I guess it started as a bet.” He answered hesitantly, and Pyrrha’s eyebrows immediately climbed up her forehead.

“A bet?!”

“No, no.” He waved his arms frantically before sighing in defeat. “Ugh, I’m not explaining this properly.”

“You sure aren’t, mister.”

His palm slapped his face, before moaning piteously as sap stuck to his hand.

“Ughhh….So you know how Cardin has been messing with me?”

“You told us you were just becoming friends.” She looked on flatly, and Jaune winced as he laughed at her nervously.

“I…uhm lied? Anyways! Not important! The point is, I did a bet against him so that he would leave me alone if I manage to do it!”

“You bet on kissing women?!” She asked incredulously, getting Jaune to chuckle to her growing confusion.

“Blake asked the same thing, you know, but no. Cardin was the one to set the bet.”

“Blake knows about this? Wait, why did you agree in the first place?”

Jaune, however, sighed loudly.

“Yeah, Blake cornered me in the library after she overheard me and Cardin. And as for agreeing….well, Cardin knows about my transcripts.”

“He’s blackmailing you.” She muttered as her eyes widened in realization. “How did he even know about it.”

“Turns out, he overheard us when I told you.” He shrugged, even as Pyrrha’s insides went cold.

Cardin could out Jaune. Cardin could get him expelled.

Jaune, however, had the audacity to only shrug at that.

“No worries, though. I’m currently handling it.”

“The bet to kiss women.” She stated flatly, even as Jaune smiled at her.

“Got it in one.”

“Why, Jaune? Why?” She grinded her teeth, looking at him in such frustration that if looks could kill, then Jaune would be a dead man.

Jaune, however, only tilted his head at her.

“What do you mean? I already told you-”

“Not that. Why didn’t you come to me for help?”

Silence, greeted her question, but Pyrrha could play this game. They were staying here until Jaune answered the question. Luckily for her, it didn’t take long for her leader to cave in.

“I wanted to solve this alone.” He slumped, but Pyrrha only crossed her arms.

“By kissing women.”

“Look, enough about kissing women already-”

“When will it stop, Jaune? Will this just go one until-”

“One.” He interrupted, cutting Pyrrha off from her growing tirade. “I only need one more.”

“....What?” She asked incredulously.

“The whole bet was that I had to kiss a team’s worth of Huntresses in exchange for Cardin leaving me alone and to stop being a racist.”

“Racist?” She blinked, but Jaune only shrugged once again.

“Hey, I actually manage to have Cardin bet something too. If I manage to kiss four women, he’d have to stop being a racist and apologize to Velvet. It’s the only reason Blake even agreed to kiss me, I think.”

“So that’s why you have a photo of her.” She said with wide eyes as he nodded.

“Yup, he wouldn’t believe me otherwise.”

And yet, Pyrrha’s eyes only narrowed at him.

“But that only leaves you two since you’ve kissed Yang.”

“Kissing Ruby in the cheek counted. So that’s three for three now.” He answered, and Pyrrha’s mind already went to overdrive.

“And number four? Do you already have an idea for number four?”

Tentative hope bloomed inside her heart, but it wilted as she saw Jaune squirm bashfully.

“I was hoping it would be Weiss, but I don’t actually have any idea how to do it.”

Pyrrha scowled, looking away from Jaune even if he could not see it.

“You managed to kiss Yang and Blake, didn’t you? I’m sure you could think of something.” She said sarcastically, but Jaune only took it to heart.

“Really? You really believe that?” He asked excitedly, and screams threatened to come out of Pyrrha’s mouth as frustration mounted inside her.

“How did you even manage to kiss Blake and Yang if you’re doubting yourself?”

Jaune, however, only laughed loudly at that.

“I ask myself that every day since I managed to do it, Pyrrha. The truth is, I have no plan! I just did it! In Yang’s case, I was just pulling things out of my ass! With Blake, she was the one who came to me!”

Her brows furrowed as she thought on his words carefully.

There was no plan. He wasn’t really being deliberate.

“You….just did it.” She muttered, pausing as she watched him continue to laugh.

“Yeah, I really have no idea what I’m doing, Pyr.”

“You just did it.” She repeated with wide eyes, staring at his lips as he tilted his head at her.

“Yeah, but I can’t do it now, can I? I’d have to get rid of this first.” He waved his hands towards his face, and Pyrrha’s heart stopped as his tongue poked out of his lips. “Good thing it’s sweet-mmph!”

—-----

If Jaune could open his eyes, then they would be blowing wide open, because right here, right now, Pyrrha Nikos was plundering his mouth.

Her tongue ensared his, and all he could was moan as he suddenly found himself on his back with Pyrrha still kissing him.

He squealed, however, when he felt her hands run over his side, and before he knew it, she was separating from him with a gasp.

“You’re right. It is sweet.” She said, and Jaune could only blush as he felt her mount his hips.

If he could see right now, then he would be seeing Pyrrha’s blushing face as well, but as it stood, all he could do was hear.

And hear he did.

“They’re over here, Professor Goodwitch!” He heard Ren shout.

…Shit.

“Good, Team RWBY, we are rushing in!” He heard Professor Goodwitch shout.

….Double shit.

“Woah, what’s happening here?!” And he heard Ruby shout.

…..Triple shit.
