Warm Up Your Printers, Orc Warriors with Weapon & Shield Battle Ready Regiment is Here, Happy and Legendary New Year!

Ave 2023, Salve 2024. Greetings to the Legendary Makers,

Felix and I are delighted to have shared another wonderful year with all of you!
This 2023 has been very special: Felix has sculpted some heroes and regiments that are now part of his collection of favorites and we have been fascinated to see how Avatars of War miniatures have come to life thanks to your printing and painting crafts.

Every word of encouragement here on Patreon and every show of enthusiasm on social media has filled us with joy and gratitude. Thank you for making 2023 a Legendary Year.

Now a confession: December has been an intense month for Felix. The pressure to close the year spectacularly has made us want to encompass so much that, in the end, we have been limited by time.
Unfortunately, this has meant that we have not had time to share as much content with you as we would have liked; literally, 2024 has caught up with us.

The good news is that January will bring a lot of new things that we have already well advanced: Battle-Ready, Legendary Jeroes, and Loyalty Rewards await you!

Your understanding and support have been the banner that have guided us, so we want to offer you the last Legendary Battle-Ready Regiment of 2023 to close this year in orcish style: with brute force and relentless ferocity, and with a roar that will echo on all battlefields.

Let's keep the tradition alive with the Orc Warriors with weapon & shield from Avatars of War Legendary Heroes and get ready to lead the most Iconic Orcs of the Old-School.

Let's toast to a New Year of epic conquests and memorable victories! Let's toast to the return of the Golden Age of miniatures, let's toast because the Old-School has never been so new. But above all, Let's toast to each one of you, to your families and friends, and to a 2024 full of won battles, Legendary Miniatures and wargaming.

Ave, Legendary Makers!

Thanks for the feedback. I start with auto-generated but then go through the supports adding and modifying many by hand. I don't want it to seem like I just click the "generate supports" button and that's it, because I really put work, care and time into supporting the miniatures. Having said that, I always look forward to improve & learn, so if you can let me know which were the problems (maybe too thin supports, or too less, too thick,...) that would be just great. Thanks!

I really love the sculpts you do for both physical and digital stuff, but Its a little disappointing to me that you use auto generated supports. I have had a ton of issues just trying to print the ironclad orcs. Even needing to go in a fix supports on almost all objects.

Hello! Thank you for your support! We always go on the big side for Orcs, so I think you could go 1005 for the new 30mm bases. The BattleReady ones are slighlty smaller to make sure they rank up easily (as you cannot play with the pose like with the multipart version) so if you are printing the BattleReady ones you can make them a bit bigger and will still fit the 30mm base. 15% in this case sounds good, but they will be prety big Orc troopers 😃

Good morning, Thank you for your great work! The figures are incredible. I have printed 30 orcs for 2 days. A question? I find them small compared to normal orcs. Should I increase the size? Maybe 15%? Knowing that now the orcs are on 30mm bases. THANKS.
