Answering my seventeenth question! Akire would be able to use Air magic to slow down her descent if she fell, as long as she woke up in time. She wouldn't need to need to hold her Stone to use it so if she did fall, the Stone in her bag would be close enough for her to access it since she's skilled enough in magic.

Later on, years after comic time, they will be able to have stones set to a kind of "on" setting, where the magic is being used with no active thought, like breathing. Although it will be a while until that point, and magic will still be being used so it wouldn't be infinite but Akire could potentially then use it to surround herself with a sort of air barrier to keep herself in place during the nights on the trees.
