Studio Feed: Starting from Scratch #2 Pt. 2

For the first 10 minutes, I mess around with an acapella trying to make a hook for the song. I definitely think I got a great texture and there's plenty of potential here, but I may end up spending a bunch of time later on fine tuning and really extracting a true hook out all of the little bits--right now it's nice but not quite catchy enough and likely too obviously reversed.
For the following 15 minutes I work on the drums and some ear candy elements within the kit.
Around 25:00, I pull up Diva and start fishing around for a lead sound/idea.
Around 40:00 through the end, I continue to work on the drums, adding a few new layers to beef up the kit. There's a bit of mixing and other random changes here and there as I continue to develop each element of the song.
