There was quite a bit of discussion in my last video on... why? Why the 2200G instead of a Ryzen 3 1200? Why did I benchmark with the Vega 8 vs a GTX 1050. Those questions, plus an overclock tutorial, in the video.
But first... What am I drinking??
Today, it's the Deschutes (Bend, OR) Red Chair Northwest Pale Ale (6.2%, 60 IBU). This one is interesting. A bit cloudy, and bottle conditioned. Lots of citrus and more bitter than I was expecting. But very crisp, and would make an excellent spring or summer beer.
Performance numbers on the 2200G are even more impressive after overclocking. Cinebench (forgot to include it in the video) ramped up to 608/159, which beats out an i3-8100 in my testing. And all of this was achieved on the stock Wraith cooler, with CPU temps peaking at 73C, and Vega temps hitting just 68C.
