Solar Blood Masters (179)

Raphael's journey had been arduous. From human slave to bull, from Black Wind to the fiery depths of a volcano, from chess master to a raging bull drunkard. And now, he stood on the precipice of his greatest transformation yet.
A flash of light.
And he was back in Skydom, materializing on the familiar Skybridge Dais. Lu Jade was coiled around his horn.
Berrelkitiary greeted him with a respectful bow. “Welcome back, Raphael. Void Emperor Sindoll awaits.”
She summoned Lamon, her colossal Draconic Butterfly Fairy mount. They climbed onto its broad back and soared through the ethereal landscape of Skydom towards Sindoll’s palace.
Inside the palace chamber, Sindoll greeted them with a serene smile. She led them to her void space.
“Void Emperor Sindoll, I have gathered the items you requested.” Raphael presented the Amethyst Silk Scriptures and the Buddhist Pill Gourd with the blueprint fragment wrapped around it.
Sindoll’s antennae twitched in surprise. “You’ve acquired them… so quickly? I myself have tried bargaining with Pi Muram for his Amethyst Silk Scriptures, but he always refused. And Julian Ringtail… he’s notoriously possessive of his Divine Blueprint Forge. How did you manage to sway them?”
Raphael shrugged. “I have my ways.”
Witnessing this exchange, Lu Jade couldn’t help but feel a sliver of pride. ‘Big Brother… He’s truly amazing!’
Sindoll announced calmly, “We can begin the procedure now, Raphael. The Amethyst Silk Scriptures, the Divine Blueprint Forge fragment, and the Four-Faced Blood Sapping Cauldron. All three items are present.”
Lu Jade slithered off Raphael’s horn and positioned himself to the side. He was eager to witness this momentous occasion.
Raphael felt a wave of nervousness wash over him. This was it. His chance to become human again. But what was about to happen? He had no clue.
“Relax, Raphael.”
Sindoll reassured him. She placed the three items in a spiral formation, with Raphael at the center.
“This procedure has never been attempted before. The finished product could be a human of unimaginable potential or one with unforeseen defects. There’s a fifty-fifty split. And it’s… irreversible. Do you still wish to proceed?”
“Yes! I’ll do it!” Raphael’s resolve was firm. He materialized Thienika’s Solar Seed. “Please, Void Emperor, Keep this safe for me.”
Sindoll accepted the seed. “Very well, Raphael. Then let us begin.”
She positioned the Four-Faced Blood Sapping Cauldron beneath Raphael. Intense heat flared beneath it, warming the black metal.
Then from her eyes, a beam of pure white energy shot forth.
It struck Raphael’s chest.
And he died.
His Solar Consciousnesses, the yellow sun, blue sun, and the small white sun materialized. They hovered while oscillating gently.
Lu Jade gasped, “Big Brother…!”
Sindoll quickly encased the Solar Consciousnesses within a protective orb, preventing them from dissipating.
She then used the Buddhist Pill Gourd to drain all of Raphael’s blood; its ruby red belly swelled with a crimson light. Afterwards, she placed his bull body into the cauldron.
With everything moved about solely by her Solar Intent, Sindoll closed the cauldron’s lid. She then turned her attention to Raphael’s Solar Consciousnesses. This was the most delicate part.
Using the Amethyst Silk Scriptures, she began the process of rearranging their inner workings. Ethereal white threads, thinner than a spider’s silk yet stronger than steel, snaked outwards from the scriptures, weaving through the Solar Consciousnesses, manipulating their very essence, modifying them to suit the Super Human Constitution’s blueprint. Even the Soul Planets and their Soul Orbitals were carefully adjusted.
A month passed.
Sindoll continued her meticulous work. She’d split herself into two. While her main body continued manipulating those threads, her duplicate body approached the cauldron. She lifted the lid.
Inside was a pool of pure golden essence.
Not even bone fragments remained.
She unfolded the blueprint fragment and infused it with her intent. A spectral image of an intricate human anatomy materialized above the cauldron. It was a detailed blueprint, showcasing every bone, every muscle, every organ.
She began using the other end of the Amethyst Silk Scriptures. She dipped its ethereal threads into the cauldron’s essence.
And began to stitch.
The threads moved with blinding speed, interweaving and forming the skeletal structure of a human body. First the skull, then the ribcage, the spine, the arms, the legs. Each bone was perfectly formed.
Next, she stitched the organs, the arteries, the tissues, the ligaments, the muscles. Layer upon layer, she crafted a human body of unparalleled perfection.
She created a powerful brain. Its left and right hemispheres, the logical and the intuitive, worked in perfect unison.
Then, she stitched golden hair, silky smooth and flowing.
Bull horns, small yet perfectly formed, sprouted from the head.
And a cute, stubby tail emerged at the base of the spine.
Lu Jade watched, mesmerized. ‘That’s… Big Brother’s new form…’
A small, humanoid figure, radiating a resplendent golden light, floated above the cauldron.
Sindoll poured the refined blood from the Buddhist Pill Gourd into the body. It came to life. She then used the remaining essence from the cauldron to reinforce its structure, enhancing its resilience and Solar Essence capacity.
She opened a small hole in the heart.
And gently placed Thienika’s Solar Seed inside.
The seed, exposed to the blood, began to germinate; microscopic roots extended outwards.
‘With this, Thienika’s essence will merge with Raphael’s. It will utilize his draconic blood… but for now, I’ve placed a seal on its growth, ensuring the body matures properly. Delaying those leaves from sprouting.’
She encased the body in a purple silk cocoon.
Then, she turned her attention back to the Solar Consciousnesses. Her meticulous rearrangement was still ongoing.
This… was no mere transformation.
This… was advanced Human Grafting.
A technique far more complex and energy-intensive than even Gastaroid’s Weapon Grafting.
While a Weapon Grafter simply molded Solar Essence and raw materials into a desired form, a Human Grafter manipulated the very essence of life itself, weaving together the intricate tapestry of a soul, a body, a consciousness. It was a delicate procedure that only a being such as Sindoll could pull off with ease.
…
Five years had passed since the commencement of Raphael’s Super Human Constitution creation project.
Yama Yaguai remained a land of untamed wilderness and brutal competition. The nine Emperors ruled their territories with an iron fist. And the beasts, driven by their primal instincts, continued their endless struggle for survival, for dominance, and for a taste of those fleeting years.
Within Sindoll's void realm, the air crackled softly with unrestrained power. A small pool of sweat had formed beneath her.
Swish… Swish…
Sindoll continued to manipulate the Amethyst Silk Scriptures, those ethereal threads weaving through Raphael’s Solar Consciousnesses, carefully realigning their intricate patterns.
Finally, after five years of meticulous work, the process was complete.
She directed the modified Solar Consciousnesses towards the purple silk cocoon where Raphael’s new body gestated. The cocoon glowed, then began to crack.
Lu Jade was not there to witness this momentous occasion. Three years into the project, thinking it might take several millennia for Big Brother’s new body to be fully grafted, he’d departed to attend to personal matters. He'd promised to return.
CRACK!
The cocoon shattered.
And a new being emerged.
He was human, yet… different.
His skin was white, almost translucent, with a faint golden sheen. His physique was slender, yet surprisingly muscular. Long, golden hair, cascading down his back in loose spirals, reached his feet. Two large, curved bull horns protruded from his head. A tail, covered in soft, golden fur, swished playfully behind him.
A green slit on his forehead marked the location of his third eye. A dark nose ring adorned his nose. And his eyes, slowly opening, revealed blood-red pupils that radiated a potent Solar Essence.
A burst of energy rushed outwards.
Dark wings began to form at his back. They unfurled, stretching wide, with feathers mixed with black and bronze. Abyss Nylon coalesced, wrapping around his lower half, concealing his legs and… other, more private parts. He materialized a dark robe adorned with golden scales and blue streaks. He looked… dapper.
Raphael’s feet touched the ground. He blinked, slightly dazed. He looked down at his hands, his arms, his legs. He was human. And the transformation… It had happened so quickly.
“It’s over already? That was surprisingly quick.” To him, it had felt like mere seconds. He’d closed his eyes and now he was human again.
He stretched, testing his new limbs. He jumped up and down a few times, enjoying the familiar sensation.
Then he paused. He looked down at himself.
“Wait… Why am I so small? I’ve become… a kid?”
He was barely 4.8 feet tall, smaller than his original human form.
Sindoll explained.
“The gestation period took five years, Raphael. Ample time for full maturity to adulthood. Howeve, the Draconic Star Lumber seed embedded within your heart… It had… unforeseen effects. It stunted your growth, but fret not, you will mature to adulthood eventually. You merely lack the appearance. But your body… it is fully developed.”
“Five years?” Raphael couldn’t believe it. ‘It felt like an instant.’
“What about Lu Jade? Where is he?”
“He departed three years ago, Raphael, to attend to some personal matter.”
‘Three years… It would have been a waste of his time… waiting.’
“Thank you, Void Emperor Sindoll. For everything. You’ve fulfilled Grandma Thienika’s last wish.”
Sindoll smiled modestly. “It was my honor, Raphael.”
She placed the Amethyst Silk Scriptures, the Four-Faced Blood Sapping Cauldron, and the Buddhist Pill Gourd before him.
“You now occupy a rare Super Human Constitution. Its potential is vast. But currently limited due to the seed germinating within you. You can no longer be measured solely by Beast Cultivation Dao. Your Solar Essence has mutated. A more accurate estimation of your strength is your Solar Essence Density.”
She materialized a chart before him, then elaborated.
“Solar Essence Density is a measure of the concentrated power within your Solar Essence. It’s calculated based on the combined Solar Essences of the Soul Planets within your Soul Orbitals. But it's more than simple addition. Soul Planets have varying levels of density based on how they are compressed and refined.”
Sindoll’s tone grew more serious.
“Solar Essence Density is measured in kelvin. A single kelvin… to put it simply… it represents a year worth of Beast Cultivation Dao. However, this estimation varies.
Most Early Nightmare Stage cultivators have a Solar Essence Density of… one hundred to a few thousand kelvins.
A low-level Saint Ruler, a few hundred thousand kelvins.
A Calamity ranged from 1 million to 6 million Kelvins.
A Nightmare Calamity, between 7 million and 14 million kelvins.
An Emperor Calamity at 1st Layer is at least 15 million kelvins.
And a Void Emperor Calamity at 1st Layer is at roughly 25 million kelvins. And so on and so forth as their strength increases and they evolve.”
“Your current Solar Essence Density, Raphael… is 7.2 million kelvin. However, its potential is currently limited to 2.1 million kelvin, due to the Solar Seed’s growth. And it will continue to drain as the seed matures. But fear not… after it produces its first sprout, your power will return.”
“And aside from the stunted growth… are there… any other… defects?” Raphael asked nervously.
“No, Raphael. I have meticulously altered the properties of your Solar Consciousness. It is now at a higher state of awareness.”
Raphael sat in a meditative posture, directing his consciousness inwards, towards his Cosmic Mind Sea.
And he was stunned.
It was no longer simply a vast expanse of swirling nebulas and twinkling stars.
At its center stood a colossal Draconic Star Lumber, laden with beautiful, star-shaped leaves. Its branches had flowing white vines hanging down. And at the apex… was something that resembled a translucent jellyfish more than a mushroom. It was liken unto a white membrane cap. Suns hung from the tree’s branches as fruits. Each resembled a miniature Star System.
One large yellow sun, radiating the aura of a Golden Bull Thork, was nestled within a spiral of star leaves. This sun was connected to two Soul Orbitals: an Astro Soul Orbital and a Star Soul Orbital.
The Star Soul Orbital was empty. But the Astro Soul Orbital had two planets: the Shadow Blood Soul Planet, along with its Soul Moon and Soul Satellite. And the Lingshi Soul Planet.
Another sun, a blue one, with the Sapphire Spring Blood Dragon swimming around it, also had two Soul Orbitals. Both were empty.
And on a small branch, by itself, a tiny white sun hovered. It had no Soul Orbital.
Raphael stared at it, puzzled. ‘What is that?’
His attention drifted to the trees grandeur.
“This almighty tree… I shall call it… the Teterahek!”
BOOM!
A massive, white, heliocentric blast exploded from the tree as if answering to its new name.
Raphael exited his Cosmic Mind Sea.
“Everything is… in order, Void Emperor. You’ve done a perfect job.”
“How high is your Solar Essence Density, Void Emperor Sindoll?” Raphael asked, trying to sound casual.
Sindoll smiled and unleashed a fraction of her Solar Pressure.
BOOM!
Raphael was instantly flattened against the invisible ground.
Blood oozed from his apertures. He coughed.
“Sorry! Sorry! I shouldn’t have asked! Please… don’t kill me, Void Emperor Sindoll!”
The pressure eased.
“That… Raphael… was enough to obliterate a low-tier Nightmare Calamity. Yet, you survived. It appears my creation is even stronger than I anticipated. Congratulations.”
She paused, then added, “My Solar Essence Density… is… well… let’s just say… it's considerably higher than 85 million kelvin.”
Raphael’s mind reeled. 85 million kelvin? That was insane!
He had to get out of there!
“Thank you again, Void Emperor Sindoll. For everything. But I have to go now. Pi Muram… he’s probably worried about his Amethyst Silk Scriptures. He thinks I’ve stolen it. I have to return it soon.”
Sindoll nodded. “Very well, Raphael.”
She released him from her void realm.
He materialized back on the Skybridge Dais, clutching the three items.
After he’d gone, a trickle of blood dripped from Sindoll’s mouth.
