Well, hello there!
Hope you all are looking at a good weekend.
As far as last week went, it has gone down smoother than expected, so I had some extra spare time to work on this project. I finished (I think) all mechanical rewrites that I felt were urgent.
Work in progress so, I haven't found any game breaking stuff but, some typos were surely left behind.
Here's the list of changes in detail:
- I rewrote Gispers intro to support an assertion check. I think this event will serve as a model for the following checks and other NPCs. The idea is that your choices predetermine the given NPC onto their own dom/sub path, and then, once that is settled, the checks will serve to give you additional content within that path. So the game will not stop or even break if you fail a check, if it is important, you will get a repeat and if not, it's just additional scene or some advantage.
(For example, initial idea was - , but tax system isn't set up yet, - that if you had passed Gispers sub or dom path, first weeks rent is skipped, if not then not, the story progresses on.)
- As stated last weekend, I reworked the forage system. I even started a topic on the TFGame.forums on the randomness factors and boy it is a rabbit hole. In any case, the forage stuff feels much better.
- I reworked the fighting systems setup. No visible change but now it supports easy addition of content. Plus I changed the potions "magic numbers" to actual variables, so later maybe the MC can upgrade them, or perhaps your femininity/masculinity will determine if you are better at fighting or your potions are more potent, who knows. Point is, now new ideas are supported better.
- Also had the opportunity to add a run away option to fighting. If the enemy misses, you will be prompted to run away. Magic number for now, 1 in 3 chances to succession. You get a run away passage and lose the normal amount of time.
And honestly that is all.

I said, and knew, that new content probably won't fit in my time, but I had hoped that I was mistaken and could squeeze in at least one more character. I guess that is left for the next update.
Speaking of which, two of the characters are pretty fleshed out in my notes, so I will work on them and the interior of Corrulla, for the next update. I aim to add more scenes as well. I'll have a day off next week, slip time for being so tight last week, so I think 2 intros and some extra scene(s) would be manageable. We'll see.
