2023-04-19 21:53:32 +0000 UTCGreat stuff, but I need a more depressive metaphysics, and Deleuze is too damn positive for my tastes lol Also there totally is such a thing as negative music: most of it is mediocre and does not even contribute something new to its respective genre, not even refinement a lot of the time. That's without mentioning uncreative cover versions which don't provide a real alternative to the original. This all without mentioning Mark Fisher's on-point opinions on the 21st century state of music. I definitely 100% love the process part of the metaphysics tho and how in general there is difference and chance in nature. But no negation whatsoever? Never buying that lol
