In a newly constructed apartment in a large city where the higher floors are rented out, the series depicts the subtle psychological battle and the class discrimination that occurs. The city hits rock bottom when an impending apocalypse hits in the form of a new type of infectious disease in which people suffer from unabated thirst. -- This drama tells a zombie story in an interesting, and most importantly less scary way. While distinctively showing human nature in a very understandable way, how humans have it easier to be kind and considerate when they are safe and comfortable but once faced with unfavorable conditions they tend to deviate. And towards the end of the show, you could clearly see how the healthy people became worse and heartless than the blood-thirsty zombies. And it also shows that a disease is not something that befalls on you because you're Bad or you're Good, it's just a phenomenon that could befall on anyone.

It has the perfect mix of action, political intrigue, drama, and romance, all wrapped up into a brilliant story that will leave you on the edge of your seat each episode. The actor who plays the main character has an amazing way of expressing all his emotions with his eyes. There is also a little chemistry between the main male lead and the villain which we loooove..some even ship them together more than they do with the main female character. He doesn't come in until either ep 2 or 3 but is in it consistently from then on but personally i just want something different. Everything has been serious and dark which isn't bad but not all kdramas are like that so even though there are still some dark parts, overall i think watching Strong Woman Do Bong Soon will be a breath of fresh air with how funny and light it is overall. Or even True Beauty or So Not Worth It.

2022-04-12 01:33:13 +0000 UTCGOBLIN here’s 5 reasons why you should watch it 1. The strange, but beautiful script This melancholy Gothic fantasy fairy-tale is far from being your average K-drama. The love story, after all, involves a goblin and his high-school bride-to-be; the secondary love story involves the grim reaper and a lonely owner of a chicken restaurant. With this said, it is pretty dark, but something about it makes it so charming and hard to resist. The overall theme of the drama is death. Although that sounds disturbing, it’s really not. The story addresses life and the fragility of it in such a beautiful way that it doesn’t make it seem so depressing. Kim Eun Sook (the writer) is a genius. The drama could have bordered on being cheesy or insensitive, but it presents death in such a perfect, moving way. There are several moments throughout the series thus far that really make you appreciate everything and everyone in your life. It’s so much more than just the love story, although the love story is pretty epic. The side stories and minor characters deal with a lot of heavy emotions from the loss of loved ones. Although intense, it somehow provides hope and comfort (like the amnesia tea given when about to cross over to the other side). I really can’t praise Kim Eun Sook enough. 2. The eerie soundtrack With names like Punch, Soyou, Eddy Kim, Sam Kim, 10cm, and Crush on the OST, you really can’t go wrong. With these vocals, you’re looking for an emotional, but superb soundtrack. The sad and dark minor tones of all the songs add such weight and depth to the drama. Every single song on this OST was meant for this drama; even the happy songs have an overarching sadness to them that’s hard to shake. 3. The cinematography This drama has some of the most beautiful and picturesque scenes I’ve ever seen in a Korean drama. It’s perfect. 4. The bromance A goblin and grim reaper living as roommates in one house. Sounds like a comedy, right? Well, it is. These two take the cake in terms of bromance. Their constant love/hate bantering while secretly caring about each other is a joy to watch. Their savage behavior towards each other will have you laughing and begging for more. Plus, how cool was it when they partnered together to save Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun)? 5. The acting. Prepare to have your minds blown. What do you get when you bring two veteran actors and a great actress together for one drama? A flawless drama and a fictional world that you get totally sucked into. Seriously, I really can’t praise this cast enough. I bet it’s not easy to act like a goblin or grim reaper without feeling or looking foolish, but Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook have outdone themselves. Gong Yoo has this ability to capture the history and emotions of his character through his eyes. The moments where he stares longingly at his bride, Ji Eun Tak, and the scenes where he’s in turmoil after being punished with immortality are all acted out seamlessly. Lee Dong Wook’s acting ability goes without mention; he’s been recently praised for his acting in this drama and ability to show depth of emotion in mere seconds. And of course, Kim Go Eun. From the movie “Monster” to the drama “Cheese in the Trap,” Kim Go Eun has proven to us that she’s one of the best actresses out there. Although she’s still young, she’s able to take on such versatile characters — really, she’s so different in almost every role. In this particular drama, her cute and endearing personality is so entertaining to watch. Her subtle I-love-yous and constant begging for money is really charming. You’ll fall in love. You really won’t come across a drama that’s this perfect in every aspect. Every detail, down to the costumes — everything just fits together flawlessly. Make sure you check out this one-of-a-kind drama. You won’t regret it!

2022-04-12 00:11:51 +0000 UTChonestly, if u guys want action definitely try out descendants of the sun - it’s a series by the same actor from vincenzo which u guys seemed to like :) if u guys want something REALLY FUNNY (tho it’s not a kdrama but it would be HILARIOUS each time u post) - try running man. it’s a variety show from KST which invites actors/idols (bts, blackpink, bigbang, YOU NAME IT.) to play wide scaled games like name tag ripping, spy games, mud wrestling, and all of the fun stuff!!! it’s the longest variety show and they have abt 500+ episodes now but should def give u guys a LAUGH each time lol

Also descendants of the sun is also soo good if you guys liked Vincenzo the actor who played him is the main lead in this one as well and is kinda different than Vincenzo and if you do watch descendants of the sun him and the other main lead actually got married in real life after the show was released but later on got divorced I don’t know how long they were married but yeah pretty sure he got divorced before filming Vincenzo and also Hwarang is also good this is the kdrama taehyung acts in and is also so good and would be cool for you guys to see him act Also the places to watch these are Goblin on VIKI don’t know if it’s on dramacool I think it is I watched it on VIKI and Hotel del Luna is on Netflix and descendant of the sun is on HULU or I’m sure it’s probably also on dramacool and hwarang is also on VIKI but sure its probably on dramacool as well!
