The First Three Videos Back
Added 2017-09-02 01:47:25 +0000 UTCAbove is the thumbnail for the first video back. Attached is the second. You may see a pattern. I don't want clickbait or even useful thumbnails, I want thumbnails that look good. Then again, I have no idea how to make a YouTube safe thumbnail for the third video. I'm working on it.
So now the first two videos are done, in the can, finished. The third is currently in the middle of production. The bulk is done and, for a weird idea, it actually came out funny as hell. The last joke is horrific though. I'm not sorry.
It feels super weird to not start a video and kick it out the door on the same day. This week-long work rate gives videos more time to marinate, to breathe. They get kicked around to a few people, changed, polished. The process is messy and unrefined but we're making something new. It's a great feeling to be making stuff in this way.
I think that starting on the 16th I'll make a post here for each and every video. That way we can talk about what works and what doesn't. Lots of things won't, but that's the fun in experimenting. The fourth video is in the planning stage and, to be honest, it's the dumbest idea in the world.
Anyway, let's finish on a word each to describe the first three videos.
Video 1. Breakdown.
Video 2. Obsession.
Video 3. Deviance.
I've never been this excited to share stuff with you.

Then you played Sniper Elite 4, looked fun, bought it, excellent game. Bought Sniper Elite 3 off the back of it, excellent game. From that I concluded that you were going to cost me a lot of money but since then, you've just played indie games or betas and nothing I have seen has made me want to buy any games. I now just watch it for the comedy value.

Admittedly my favourite stuff has been videos where you've shown a game that you like and made it funny, and maybe that's just not what you're going for anymore. You could be pushing the limit of what can be done in a gaming video, but hey maybe it will work.

I fully believe that controversy makes money, but when you site boasts to be about expressing your individuality but then says this isn't what we deem advertiser friendly you become North Korea. It goes back to wrestling not being advertiser friendly, I watch Raw and Smackdown every week and they are sponsored by; KFC, Cricket, Sonic, and Rocket League to name a few. Those are some big ass companies. I'd much rather wait 5 years to see Bo Burnham's next special than watch Jerry Seinfeld. Quality is better than safety.

I think it would be cool to incorporate the feel of the whole video into the thumbnail in your already stylish way. I'm sorry if I misunderstood your thumbnail and idea but either way that would be a cool way to show what the video is maybe going to be about :)
