PS. The voice at the start is Dylan Moran. He's funny.
Comments
Dan- “I’m trying to decide if it will be a book with swearing in”, Dan then went on to title it Fuck Yeah video games. Sounds about right

2025-03-10 13:51:09 +0000 UTCListening to this late and hearing the positivity of dan on 2k18 and just think you poor sweet summer child. But a most excellent podcast

2017-10-22 10:15:25 +0000 UTCI think you said that these would be weekly, and please do. I'm always looking for things to just listen to and my favorite ones always come from you, like Podcats and News.
2017-10-22 07:59:16 +0000 UTCThe problem I have with that is that you can say that about anything. How do you know The Universe exists? You'd need something independent of the Universe to quantify it. I think the Universe exists, but nobody can say ANYTHING for certain, which makes it a nonpoint
2017-10-21 23:29:36 +0000 UTCIm so relieved i found someone who goes 'I cant say god/ science is defiantly right, because there isnt proof to say one is for definite'. Cause its true, you can neither prove or disprove either are the right asnwer.
James Barber
2017-10-21 21:56:19 +0000 UTCI want two hours of that

2017-10-21 21:32:46 +0000 UTCUggghh, you make me want to grow up, i enjoy getting people rilled up, you make me feel like it's time to cut it down

2017-10-20 15:40:49 +0000 UTCMan I really enjoyed that. Thank you Dan. And yes even though it got kinda of depressing and political (unfortunately those things go together quite often), I really enjoyed listening to your views on those things. It gave me a much great insight and appreciation into who you are and I liked that. I could understand better where you were coming from on those various topics.
Matthew Pike
2017-10-19 17:30:52 +0000 UTCLove it, need more of these!
2017-10-19 00:41:02 +0000 UTCReally enjoyed listening to this Dan, great to hear you talking so relaxed and openly about all manner of stuff, can’t wait for the book!
MrAndyTF
2017-10-18 23:54:06 +0000 UTCYeah I enjoyed it. Still preferred Podcats, but it was certainly a good listen for while I cruise round in ETS2.

2017-10-18 21:23:56 +0000 UTCAnd so I did watch hitch hikers guide to the galaxy and loved it! Would love to see it played out on a stage it sounds interesting to be played on the stage.
Valthexus
2017-10-18 21:21:16 +0000 UTCThe hitch hikers guide to the galaxy re-recording was great! I got all there signatures on my glasses case, and the voice actor for zaphrod beeblebrox signed it as zaphrod beeblebox :D
2017-10-18 20:34:59 +0000 UTCI want 2 hours of Donald Trump ranting :(
Seth Biemiller
2017-10-18 20:01:16 +0000 UTCThese kind of podcasts are brilliant! We get hear you dan,see tons of references and things that I will enjoy in a nice little bubble. I haven’t watched hitchhikers guide to the galaxy but am going to instantly! You touched my heart when you were talking about your childhood because my friend is having issues with voices and low esteem and I have been helping him try to get out of this and help him be happier as I was the first person to be told about this as he thought people would laugh and you really made me shed a tear.

2017-10-18 18:36:32 +0000 UTCIn regards to religion, I would label myself as an apatheist. The existence or non existence has zero effect on me one way of the other.

2017-10-18 18:33:33 +0000 UTCI like the Dylan Moran intro.

2017-10-18 17:54:15 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this. Nice to have something chilled to listen to.

2017-10-18 05:20:58 +0000 UTCGreat stuff keep them coming but as an American hearing you talk about all the British tv is upsetting because I cant watch any of it :(

2017-10-18 03:21:59 +0000 UTCI was really confused about the book due to ("<a href="https://www.patreon.com/posts/nerd3-book-8653424">https://www.patreon.com/posts/nerd3-book-8653424</a>")
2017-10-17 19:57:12 +0000 UTCThis was great Dan! Would love to hear more!

2017-10-17 19:42:20 +0000 UTCHad a lovely time listening to this!
2017-10-17 17:20:55 +0000 UTCDon't feel bad Dan, everyone in game design has at least one of those "dream designs" that will never get made. It's part of the process.
2017-10-17 16:49:48 +0000 UTCis Matt ok? he seems to be doing shit tons :D
2017-10-17 16:06:21 +0000 UTCI love these rambling stream of conscience type podcasts. I always watch the old Little and Cubed and Father and Son-Day videos to cheer myself up after a bad day. So I'm happy to donate to Dan's Patreon :)

2017-10-17 16:03:44 +0000 UTCAbsolutely wonderful podcast! Would love to listen to some more in the future. And personally, I am ok with all the politics and real life talk.
2017-10-17 12:18:42 +0000 UTCThat was wonderful, Dan. I absolutely love the long rambling podcasts. Please keep them coming. Just spent the morning pottering around doing housework to this and it was glorious
2017-10-17 11:54:18 +0000 UTCDan, when you release the book if there isn't an audio version I'll be very sad. I just want to hear your lovely voice reading your sexy words.
2017-10-17 10:48:22 +0000 UTCAlso Love Actually is one of my favourite films
Matthew
2017-10-17 10:24:53 +0000 UTCI love Red Dwarf as a teen/adult but I watched an episode as a child (Epideme) and it gave me nightmares. Less than fun.
Matthew
2017-10-17 09:45:44 +0000 UTCYes! Yes! Yes!!!! This is exactly what I've been wanting since the death of Podcats and the news! Just talking and opinions for hours! Loved it! NEEEEED MORE!
2017-10-17 09:15:56 +0000 UTCI can't believe I just listened to this is one go. And now it's 5am. I love stuff like this. Long, chatty stuff that I can stick on and listen to while getting other things done. Hopefully this will become a regular thing.
Joshua Aarons
2017-10-17 03:59:20 +0000 UTCHonestly this is what I signed up for and I'm happy that we get some of the real you, thanks and good luck!

2017-10-17 00:03:47 +0000 UTCDan, can you please share you full music list/playlist. PLEASE!
Alex Myagkov
2017-10-16 23:12:16 +0000 UTCi just had the nicest evening, listening to this and playing factorio. how about making a spotify playlist of some songs that you like Dan? Weekly listening assignments?
Weronika Michalska
2017-10-16 21:02:25 +0000 UTCRebecca is so pretty. You’re so lucky to have her Dan!
2017-10-16 19:52:51 +0000 UTCI'm glad I'm not the only person who tears up at cool things on film/TV! Loved this, please do more podcasts if you can it's nice to have something to listen to as I'm doing work
Ben Davis
2017-10-16 19:48:57 +0000 UTCDan, I don't disagree with you on Trump but you should realize the possibility that he is intelligently manipulating the gullible middle-class of America, which is equally as bad as what you described him to be.
2017-10-16 18:44:29 +0000 UTCAlso please upload the Tump rant
Addison Reilly
2017-10-16 18:29:51 +0000 UTCFor those keeping track, this is the fourth nerdcubed podcast series. The first was the Nerdcubed Tubecast with 6.5 episodes and then was the Nerdcubed Podcast with 6 episodes both with Wot (God rest his soul) Then the Podcats with Matt and Jon with a relatively huge 25 episodes, and now this with just Dan and I'm going to bet on 9 episodes.
Addison Reilly
2017-10-16 18:27:56 +0000 UTCI really want that top 100 TV shows list!
Well Read Nomad
2017-10-16 18:08:04 +0000 UTCYes! Please do Dan.
Alex Myagkov
2017-10-16 18:06:39 +0000 UTCWas that a sneaky little "I live in Scotland" I just heard? Have you come to mourn Scottish independence and the EU?
2017-10-16 17:48:46 +0000 UTCNext time, rant about trump.
Joël Mentor
2017-10-16 17:28:45 +0000 UTCWould enjoy listening to Dan ranting on politics.
Kyle Crampton
2017-10-16 17:10:20 +0000 UTCLoved this! Could listen to you go on for god knows how long, plus nice to know I'm not the only one who adores Mamma Mia (Although lets be fair, who doesn't!). Can't wait for Saturday's video :D
2017-10-16 15:29:08 +0000 UTCPlease keep making these Podcasts, Dan - I loved it!
2017-10-16 14:10:17 +0000 UTCOn the flight simulator video I have never laughed harder than the moment after the caption "Nerd3 dies in a plane crash" it was hilarious.
2017-10-16 14:06:50 +0000 UTCKeep making this. It's exactly what I want out of the paetron.
2017-10-16 14:00:34 +0000 UTCJust finished with it. Loved it. Another podcast to add to the schedule (I love podcasts). It was structured nicely (in that Nerd³ style) and I didn't get bored once! Please keep doing this for us.
2017-10-16 13:07:08 +0000 UTCLoved it, the music idea was a nice touch. The depressing stuff was maybe not mixed how you'd like but it was a nice insight into you as a person, which is rare.
Callum Jessamine
2017-10-16 12:26:11 +0000 UTCWhen you were mentioning having known friends who've died... it hit me hard. I had a friend who was raped and murdered in year 9 (He was 14). I know how it feels and how much it makes you want to just forget and never look back at those years. Thanks for bringing your story up, even if just brief.
Gabriel Moody
2017-10-16 12:26:01 +0000 UTCSince you're writing a professional novel, I recommend getting "The Elements of Style". It's a nice concise little guidebook that helps to teach you things about punctuation, sentence structure, and so on.
Damien Letham
2017-10-16 12:25:38 +0000 UTCThis is a great idea.
Mr. H.
2017-10-16 12:20:18 +0000 UTCLoved It. Totally agree about ELO.
2017-10-16 12:06:40 +0000 UTCtalking about Dave Gorman, have you checked out his Modern Life is Goodish. It's great, it's just him talking about the bullshit he found on the internet and also the best thing is he looks at those bullshit news articles and writes a poem from the comments they get, it's all on UKTV Play now.
Shawn Lindsay
2017-10-16 12:01:31 +0000 UTCReally enjoyed the podcast, even the depressing bits. I'm also very tired of Trump and racism and hate and all that, and it's been bothering me that there's not really anything I can do about it. Listening to what you had to say made me realise it's ok to just hope for the best and otherwise leave it alone. Thank you very much for that, and keep doing what you're doing. Nerdcubed has never been better!
2017-10-16 11:59:13 +0000 UTCAmazing Dan. Good old, jump from one thing to the next. Keep them coming!
2017-10-16 11:50:59 +0000 UTCYAY Podcasts

2017-10-16 11:44:31 +0000 UTCThank-you for this! :) I will certainly enjoy this!
2017-10-16 11:11:34 +0000 UTCCool podcast. Very...reflective. Re: Twitter (At least, this is what I've found): Twitter has changed for you because your focus has changed. If you focus on your Feed, Twitter is interesting and cool; If you focus on your Notifications & Replies, Twitter is hell.
Harmelodic
2017-10-16 10:57:10 +0000 UTCThis is the best thing. It's so cosy, and intimate. Thanks for this! More than worth my couple of pounds a month.

2017-10-16 10:36:39 +0000 UTCDan, any chance you could do as Daniel Marshall suggests above and allow for a personalized RSS feed of it? Makes it so much easier to listen on the phone since it's so long.
2017-10-16 10:30:33 +0000 UTCI need that episode 0 about trump now. Also, this is exactly what I4ve een dreaming since the day the knee jerks went the way of the Dodo, I loved soup, loved Discusses, loved the podcats, loved the old wot posdcasts...
