recently renewed my patreon sub, and so I'm binging the podcasts. I think one key game(s) that defined the 10's is the Battlefield games ONLINE!!. 3, 4, H 1, V all came out in the 10's. Look at how Dice learned to listen and communicate with its fans. Because 3 was a solid game, but 4 was utter trash at launch. After a year of work, BF4 was smooth, and set the baseline for 1 and V. Granted Hardline sucked, but some of the mechanics that Visceral added were kept for 1 and V. I have more hours in BF4 than any other game, and I still boot it up every now and then for a match. Yes the Campaigns sucked ass, and are a big stain on the series.

2020-05-20 01:34:20 +0000 UTCI think Dan might have said something about games where people play them for the story and not the gameplay and he really wasn't on board for that idea since you shouldn't be playing a game and instead watch a film

2020-01-19 08:24:17 +0000 UTCDan can we just talk about how fucking amazing orange Cassidy is, for about an hour give or take?

2020-01-16 05:10:24 +0000 UTCQuestion/Rant: RDR2 has the best protagonist of any game ever and it’s story is incredible. Gameplay is outdated but meh, I don’t play it for the gameplay. Do you feel the same about Arthur Morgan? 😭 you can shout about picking up beans for hours but pleaaaassseee 🥺. Anyway animal crossing is soon huh.

2020-01-14 15:50:29 +0000 UTCI'd be down for tier rewards. I'd be more down for it if I wasn't poor as fuck.

2020-01-14 13:47:12 +0000 UTCCould you maybe not discuss which characters are going to die? I kinda don't want to find out until I read it.

2020-01-14 00:04:26 +0000 UTCthat reminded me of the Sakura Santa video when Dan stopped the video when the one dressed as Santa had her ass in the air, put his feet up and started taking the piss about someone walking in on a viewer while they were watching it

2020-01-13 21:27:31 +0000 UTCHey Dan! What would you suggest someone who hasn't watched wrestling before starts off with? Also, I've recently finished watching Brooklyn 99, any recommendations on what to watch next?

2020-01-13 18:21:37 +0000 UTCME: Andromeda is actually really fun. The comeback is the best part, it’s super lose and free with a jet pack and you can get whatever powers you want. The exploration is fun and the characters, while none as good as the top tier trilogy squad mates, are all still very good. Would recommend as most of the animation issues have been fixed.

2020-01-12 17:41:12 +0000 UTCHey Dan, if you want to play some retro style point & clicks, then you could try some of the games from the german developer Daedelic! My favourites are the Edna & Harvey and Deponia series, they are in my opinion the best modern point & click games.
2020-01-12 17:40:05 +0000 UTCDan you should really play the witcher dlc:s, they are amazing!

2020-01-12 12:01:17 +0000 UTCAbsolutely. The inherent issue with the list is that, based on the premise, many people (including myself) expected an objective well-researched list that accurately represented the past decade. Instead, what we got was exactly what we should have expected - a list of games that Dan thinks are most important or really liked, even if they don't matter as much as he think they did.

2020-01-12 02:39:41 +0000 UTCThanks for reading my comment! And to answer your question, I think Mass Effect: Andromeda is a really good game. I know it got a lot of criticism for its bugs and the story, but gameplay-wise it was probably the most fun I had in a Mass Effect game. I would definitely like to hear your thoughts on it.

2020-01-12 02:23:11 +0000 UTCIf you do the thing with merch at tiers, can there also be a system for total money rather than "sub at $x for y time", so something more like "spend $x money total and get z." I would prefer that personally.

2020-01-11 22:40:45 +0000 UTCHi Dan! I love your collaborations with other YouTubers, usually it feels there’s even more energy than usual, which got me wondering, are there any people that you’ve collaborated with, that you’ve had an amazing experience offscreen as well as when recording? And is the energy still present offscreen?

2020-01-11 22:40:11 +0000 UTCI'm definitely in the minority I quite enjoyed mass effect andromeda. It had the best combat and gameplay of the franchise, looked stunning, granted the cutscene animations are still a bit stiff even since the patches. While the main story is not the most interesting the planets and design of the game really gave me that star trek vibe, one part that really nailed that home was doing the side quests on each planet to raise the viability of your colonies. Its definitely not a defining game but I see it as an updated and less frustrating version of the original mass effect, art design wise it is incredible, though the writing in some parts isn't as good as the original.

2020-01-11 19:56:29 +0000 UTCWould you ever consider doing one of these podcasts or something where you talk about your favourite books or novels of all time?

2020-01-11 19:35:21 +0000 UTCSurely naming the games of the decade list, "NerdCubed's Top 25 Defining Games of the Decade" would alleviate some of the criticism Also Question, How are you finding AEW Dynamite? Have you stayed up to date? I'm loving Cody,MJF, Jericho, Moxley, "Hangman" Adam Page, Darby Allin and Kris Statlander. The only real negative I have is the Nightmare Collective is a bit crap and is dominating the women's division too much.
