I'm 2 minutes in. That sounds like ADHD to me. It's a misconception that ADHD is an inability to focus. It's more an inability to DIRECT focus. We can focus too bloody well, we just don't get to choose what to focus on. Google hyperfocus

I really wanted to get into working on YouTube on Twitch, and do still wanna do it for fun, but I think at this point I would absolutely struggle to go full time career for it. I can text my manager and be like "I don't feel like working today, I'm taking some flexi" and just stay off. I can take 2 weeks off and nobody gets to disturb me. I have a PENSION. Even though it's hard working in the NHS right now, I don't think I'd trade it in for internet stuff, it'd be way too stressful on my brain.

Listened to this on the drive to the neurologist, to get my first round of ADHD meds. Just want to say thank you, because I think without you being so open about your way with it, I would have never discovered that I have it (even though I was diagnosed 18 years ago, but my parents were against meds, so just behavioural disciplining it was...)

I think, unfortunately, long daily streams is what bring in the numbers, which makes it difficult for most especially like you who have cfs, adhd, etc. Also It's so nice to listen to someone who thinks and speaks like me, mind is a mess and mouth can't keep up.
