I agree, you can't choose what wild animals you'd like to have in your garden from others you can't, nature don't work like that. And good luck training an outdoor cat not to hunt...

Raptors (predatory birds) are struggling all across the world, much more so than the few birds that are able to coexist with humans more readily, such as blackbirds.

You're not responsible for the wild animals that come into your garden, just let nature do it's thing and clear up the remains once once the hawk's finished if necessary.
