2024-04-11 14:04:11 +0000 UTCFor those thinking of getting into wrestling from this podcast I'd consider watching some raw and smackdown episodes that led up to WrestleMania too. I was lucky and started from 1st march and watched everything leading up to WrestleMania and all the stories Dan is hyping up are even better with the lead-up. For example Sami Zayn's thing is not that he did one workout to beat Gunter it's that he had to get the confidence mentally. He flip-flopped back and forth for ages trying to decide if he was good enough to take him on, while Gunter plays mind games and loves it. I love Sami just because his story to me is not about physicality but just being driven enough to not stay down and not be beaten, as it often is with the faces in wrestling of course but his is the most extreme example right now
