Here in the US, selfdefense might be your only valid legal reason for being allowed to carry a certain item. Each state being drastically different in some cases... Example I am from Oklahoma, we have a state law locking in our federal constitutional right to carry a gun how ever we want. IE I go buy one, pass a background check, they hand me the gun I can walk out with it concealed or open carry on my hip just like any police officer can. But, we still have some stupid laws on carrying blades in public ๐คท
