What I'm Working On #005

Hey all!  I'm back with what I've been working on this week.  My IRL jobs have been insane this week, so it's been a pretty light week, but I've got lots of time off over the holiday next week to catch up.  :)

Sidesaddle

So this week I got another ~20ish animations done for the sidesaddle mod.  Right now it's all about the transition animations between walkstyles.  I'm getting closer and closer on this one every week but still have more to finish up.

Gradual Aging

My work on Gradual Aging this week has been about building in Sim's reactions to their bodies aging, and allowing Sims to attend treatments to slow the aging process.  Sims can now purchase skin treatments which usually work - but sometimes result in a rash.  Sims may also get reactions from noticing their changing bodies in the mirror.  This mod has entered final testing and should be released sometime this weekend! :)

Regency Romance Update

This week for the Regency Mod I've been working on more animations related to the governess career.  I'd really like for this to be interactable instead of just a rabbithole (although not an active career, that's beyond my ability).  One of the animations I'm working on is having children balance books on their head to practice posture.  :)  Governesses will also be a hireable service, like a maid, to teach your children etiquette and artistic skills such as piano.

On another note related to the regency mod - I'd really like to add a skill for the lower/middle classes.  Right now I'm thinking weaving or sewing, but if you have ideas please mention them because I'm still very undecided!

Mod Fixes

Finally, I've also been spending some time this week looking into bugfixes, both for the Regency Mod as well as the Soulmates mod.  For Soulmates, I'm going to need to write a script to do what I thought I could do reliably in tuning.  While it's able to assign the soulmates, it looks like it's not always reliably checking the tests I've put in both the buffs and the loots.  Ironically, I think the same issue is causing bugs for the scandal assignments in the regency mod.
