2025-03-11 08:13:06 +0000 UTCSan Junipero messed me up the most, not because it was scary in the horror sense but because the whole idea of a simulated afterlife brings up a lot of difficult feelings for me. I did love the story and the queer representation, but oof aside from that, I remember there was something in the episode Black Museum about a parent's consciousness being transferred into a child's toy, only for the toy to be abandoned by the child and discarded with the consciousness intact inside... fucking terrifying
