Most disturbing Reddit post you've ever read?

Probably not “disturbing” in the creepy or gory sense but the Reddit where people discuss that having children ruined their lives and all of their regrets definitely disturbed me! TW: Do not research if you plan to have children, I personally didn’t before reading but it has stuck with me!

2025-12-03 22:53:46 +0000 UTCThere's one that's popped up recently of someone who gets satisfaction from spreading bodily parasites from himself to others (non consensually) by contaminating food, sleeping around and other stuff 🤢 He refers to the parasites as 'His children' 🤢🤢🤢 Eugh gives me chills

2025-07-11 22:50:23 +0000 UTCI voted Jason in Hell, because it falls into a genre of like, situations that aren't too out of the ordinary but are revealed to be quite disturbing. I would put the reddit post about the bf putting slugs into her food in that category, especially with the context of her pet slug going missing. At least that case did not end in death, but it easily could have (source: that boy who died after eating a slug for a dare). I think what scares me is simultaneously the ability of someone to be so inconsiderate of other people, and for those people being abused to normalize it.

2025-07-03 00:04:26 +0000 UTCif you have childhood trauma or abuse I would say tread lightly! it's very detailed and the child (now an adult) claims he is not or has ever been a victim. That's probably the scariest part other than the graphic details he goes into.

2025-06-28 03:48:55 +0000 UTCJason in Hell really haunts me sometimes. Not that others aren't horrific, but there's something that feels so much more tangible about it that makes it that much more horrific. Some stories are such incomprehensible horrors that feel isolated or impossible (even if they're not) but man, that one really feels like it could be right next door.

2025-06-28 02:49:08 +0000 UTCI'd only heard of the ladyiris one because of your video on it. i've since read through all off these and I would have to say while two broken arms is disturbing, jason in hell is fucking horrific. as a person with children I can not understand how anyone can do that to a child to spite someone else.
