Some Updates! Iceberg Question, Personal Updates, Patreon Updates, etc...

Where I've been: Hi everyone! Sorry I went MIA. Mid-to-late June every year for some reason is always so busy??? Is that just me??? I went to Vegas for my birthday (I'm 34 now wahhh) and it was such a good time. Even though things got way too silly on the last night I was there, and I was sick when I got home! Combination of not being 20 anymore, and also chronic illness makes me tired and so it took me a solid week to recover. First world problems, I know, yes it was worth it. I'm back now!

Mental Health Update: I am also currently in the process of trying to get an ADHD diagnosis. I've seen two different psychiatric ARNPs and I had an awful experience with both of them :) One was fixated on my Crohn's (instead of my mental health) and the other just gaslit me and treated me like a junkie trying to score meds (literally confirmed my biggest fear going into this whole thing). SO. I'm waiting for my appointment with my PCP next to see where I can go from here. I do feel like I need meds, I struggle SO much with distraction, focus, motivation, forgetfulness, scattered thoughts, losing things...etc. I tell you all this to let you know once I hopefully get this treated I can be more efficient with getting Patreon content. I want to put out MORE Patreon content than I currently am, I try to prioritize y'all as much as humanly possible. Though now that I've been having an editor help with the fetish iceberg, at least I haven't been late the last few months :)

Iceberg Update/Question: I'm working on part 6!! It will be out by the end of this month. Poll question - would you prefer the iceberg is broken up into shorter but more frequent parts? E.g. 30-40 minutes twice a month instead of an hour+ once a month? Still about the same amount of content but more frequent so you don't have to wait as long for a new video. If you guys want this change, it will start in August.

Patreon Perk Update: Speaking of the fetish iceberg...I am switching up the credits thing. I have gotten hundreds of new Humanoid supporters in the last couple of months (which has been incredible and I'm so grateful!) but it's been almost impossible to keep up with the credits. Like actually impossible to figure out who has come and gone or switched tiers, etc. I am going to only have the Alien tier at the end of the videos now. I've updated the perks to reflect this. I hope everyone can understand, I would imagine most folks don't care since they're really here for the iceberg and community and there's were so many names people can hardly read them anyway!! I hope this does not come off as me being ungrateful for the support, because I appreciate it more than anything and cannot believe how many people want to hear me talk MORE on a monthly basis.

awww, happy belated birthday!!! And not yet!! I'm so sorry, I figured most people were just here for the fetish iceberg so I haven't gotten around to it yet but I'll try to push it up on my to-do list!!

Thanks for taking the time to update us, I'm so happy you're taking care of yourself and please don't stress about getting content out. I think most of us agree that your mental and physical health is more important 💖

Happy Belated Birthday! As a fellow 34 year old, I can attest to the added recovery time. I'm sorry you've had a terrible experience with your doctors and hope you can find someone empathetic and helpful soon.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday! Not being able to get mental health help like that is awful. I'm so sorry it's happening and I hope you get the right support for a diagnosis and everything else. It's so important. Glad you got to celebrate your birthday and have some time off recovering from not being well. Yay for chronic health girlies xxx

I was just diagnosed in December 2024 and started Adderall. *chef's kiss* I hope you can find a reliable psych soon! ❤️ Btw, my brother got me the Camping Cryptids shirt for my birthday on July 3rd, I was so excited! 😊 One question - were the old Patreon videos re-uploaded anywhere yet? I was in the process of watching them when the channel got removed. Just wondering. Thanks for your amazing videos!! 🩷

That's good advice, thank you!! But yes OK right?? It feels like it takes people months or years to get diagnosed or treated. I did the creyos test and the second psych based her entire diagnosis off of that. When like...that test is so outdated, not for adult women, and often wrong. She thinks all my issues are my OCD, not ADHD, and my OCD is very well managed. Argghhhhhhh.

Ugh Hanna that must be so stressful to have to find a new doc all the time. But yes the medical gaslighting is crazyyyyyy like why do they think we WANT to be on meds?? The vast majority of us would love to have typical brains and I would imagine you'd be more than happy to live without chronic pain. It's so frustrating. Plus, they are often worried about problems that THEY created in the first place. I trust doctors overall and I've had lots of great ones, but man are there major flaws in our system.

Thank you!!

Struggling to get mental health help is so real. It might help to try a non stimulant like bupropion (affects dopamine) and if it doesn't help switch to more traditional ADHD meds. That way providers can see you're actively trying to treat something. It shouldn't fall on the patient to prove their diagnosis but that's our country for ya. Also as someone in Washington state I've noticed providers have gotten REAL weird about treating ADHD these past few years idk what's up with that

My ADHD meds were a literal lifesaver for me. I hope you’re able to find someone worth their salt. If you lived in the Dallas area, I could recommend someone I really trust and has been so helpful since I moved here. I’m married to a Marine Veteran. I only say that to say we have moved a LOT. Every time I find myself in a new city, I have to start over to find someone to manage both my mental health meds and my meds for chronic pain. BOTH of those are famous for treating people like they are just drug seeking, even when I have medical record for chronic pain and other stuff causing pain starting in 2009 and mental health starting in 2012. I’m so sorry they aren’t helping you. I really hope it gets better for you. I appreciate all you do. Upload on whatever schedule works and I’ll be here!

I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say we completely understand on all fronts. Take care of yourself!! We appreciate you, and you do not seem ungrateful at all.
