New Music Video coming soon, hooray!

Hi Friends and Patrons! I shot my music video for "Oogway Ascends" from Kung Fu Panda this past weekend in San Diego by my parents' home and my dad even helped with holding the reflector, hehe! Here's a screen shot from the raw footage, I can't wait to start editing this later this week, and hope to have it on YouTube next week! The song is available on iTunes as a single: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/oogway-ascends-from-kung-fu/id966381945 I added my own original "super Chinese" ending to this beautiful song written by Hans Zimmer and John Powell. I actually was lucky enough to play this song with the composers at Althorp Castle in England for the "Pandamonium in the Park" event sponsored by Dreamworks and Sainsbury's. I got to play the Erhu and Electric Cello in the live show featuring music from the Kung Fu Panda scores! Here's a little video from one of the rehearsals before the concert that I found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eJ9pZNIwVU It was lots of fun arranging and recording my own version, getting in touch with my Chinese Heritage Motherland and using basically every Chinese Instrument Sample I have, haha! :) Thank you all so much for your support, it really means so much to me! Love, Tina

Thanks Christian! I keep my site updated with shows and whatnot: www.tinaguo.com and usually also post on my Facebook very regularly with updates: www.facebook.com/tinaguomusic . Yoshiki was super super nice and kind, and it was fun to tour with him playing his classical music! <3

Looks gorgeous! Like the piece too, just had to look it up on YouTube since I haven't seen the movie. I must admit, since I never actually looked up your bio - I found your music via Loudr's you-might-also-like-this-artist feature - and I gotta say, I didn't expect your work to be that far travelled. Gotta keep an eye for any appearances close to home! What was it like playing with Yoshiki? I used to listen to X-Japan a lot and was lucky enough to see them live when they visited Berlin in 2011!
