Also have to report a small singing victory!
I was singing in front of an audience and got an enthralled reaction I haven’t seen before!
Okay, it was an audience of one. Okay, yes it was Oscar.
(My friend and band mate Jay used to call that having an audient.🤣)
But I swear, this bedtime rendition of ye olde Twinkle was the best yet!
I was trying to remember what I’ve learned in my singing course, to breathe and not stop moving. Even bedtime songs can send my voice breaking up or getting breathy most times.
I closed my eyes and kind of swayed my head and neck while releasing the high note, and when I opened my eyes Oscar was smiling up at me so big that his cheeks pointed out at me like tiny mountains. Then he clasped his hands under his chin and let out a small coo sound.
Too bad we didn’t have the reality show crew following us around to capture that for you.
