Update: 5K Sudsy
Added 2019-12-21 21:17:58 +0000 UTCHere's a 5K update and 4K too. With sound. Which might be too quiet? Need better suds eventually too.
The 5K at 60fps vid (5k60 in the name) needs a PC I think, my GO can handle the 5k30 and 4k60. Here 5k is 5760x2880 or 2880p. Using 1920p for 4K so can be sure everyone can view it.
More to come, there's two more updates ready in next week, and hoping to get a holiday clip out but we'll see.

I dont know the actual science behind it but I understand the concept that a video with good and realistic lighting like yours will always be perceived as overall better quality than the same video with inferior or incorrect lighting. So your video renders at 5k already look even better due to your awesome lighting work compared to any other content out there.

2019-12-22 02:07:38 +0000 UTCThere is no inherent max resolution it can take and it can easily go up to 90fps, its more reliant on the PC and GPU. I have a beefy PC with a 2080ti and a 1080ti so I have been able to watch the 6K videos that vrbangers.com puts out for example and they look amazing on the headset, i just dont know of anyone else making 180vr content higher than 6k right now but if you want to try an 8k file I am definitely down to test that puppy lol Im sure it will look breathtaking. Having been one of the original kickstarter backers for the pimax 5k and 8k headsets I was able to test both out and I thought the 5k looked way more sharp because of the pixel formation, 8k panels were inferior diagonal formation structure. So i opted for the 5kplus model
