Commission: Victor and Ana

Victor is the father of Sieur Michel and a close friend of the Viscount of Aulnay, the father of Theresa, Mike's beloved. Once a minor vassal of a local knight, Victor became a footsoldier in the War of the Sands, traveling with Lord Aulnay to Outremer, a desert region far to the East. There, he saved Aulnay's life from a feral Wyvern, earning his line the sigil of a Wyvern and the friendship of his liege. His leg was badly injured in the attack, and he would walk with a limp from that point. Victor was raised to full nobility and given title as the protector of Aulnay, which he held until he passed the title onto his (then) son.
Ana was a peasant girl from Iruña, the capital of the "Last Kingdom", Navarra. Returning from the War of the Sands, Victor stayed in the city after a long sea voyage, striking up a friendship and later romance with the girl who nursed him back to health. Ana, with her southern beauty, quickly capitvated the court at Aulnay and the two were wed. Her knowledge of herbal remedies and proximity to the magical regions of the Shattered Peninsula has led some to whisper rumors of witchcraft or Fae sympathies behind her back, but few were willing to publicly slander her or her favoured family.
