Commission: Lacey of the Morgazh
Added 2021-01-26 20:56:45 +0000 UTCA sketch upgrade for https://www.deviantart.com/srgntdrew, featuring their character Lacey (typically a harpy). This sketch event was helf all the way back in May of 2020 (one of the first I held), where the theme was "Mermay". Drew opted to help me expand on some Kroashent Lore, with Lacey becoming an Octopus-like Morgazh.

In Alvez, the Morgazh live deep in the Mor Bras (Great Sea) along the Bevenou (Rim), a region bordering the lighter shallows of the Gwantenn and the abyssal Isfontou. Tasked by some unknown power to defend the seas from the horrors lurking in the depths beyond the rim, the Morgazh have dedicated themselves to building and patrolling impenetrable undersea fortresses, such as the city of Deepring. The Morgazh are a martial race, their culture arranged in strict martial hierarchy based on their skillsets, becoming rangers, soldiers or mages.

Lacey jumped at the chance to take to the skies as a birdlike Tempestarii when a mysterious peddler offered her a choice of magical potions. But instead of saoring in the clouds, Lacey found herself cast into the deep sea where no sunlight reaches, a member of a mysterious race of soldiers instinctively carrying out long-forgotten orders against the dark forces in the murky shadows. Will Lacey return to the surface and see her love again? Who was the mysterious peddler and what shadowy plans does she have for out heroine? You'll have to wait to find out!
