Kroashent Commission: Claude d'Artois

A commission for :iconsrgntdrew:, featuring a character creation set in Alvez, the world of Kroashent.

Claude d'Artois is a nobleman from the Cloth Cities, a collection of formerly independent merchant cities recently brought under the control of the Gallian Crown. Eager to further his position in Gallian noble society, Claude sought the hand of Terese of Aulnay, an Akitanian noble with lands in the West. Despite his wealth, statue and charms, Claude found himself against an unplanned rival: Sieur Michelle, Therese's loyal knight, who after a series of misadventures, has returned home, but as a woman, the curse of a cruel Fae witch.

Determined to not let Mike get in the way of his goal of Therese's marriage, Claude made a deal with a fae as well, in an effort to "take his rival's fate for his own." While Claude assumed that was the seemingly fated marriage to Therese, the witch had other plans, turning Claude into Claudia, and giving her a few extra changes out of (somewhat deserved) spite. Disgraced and forgotten, Claudia has reinvented herself as a foreign noblewoman with a mysterious past, becoming a renewed thorn in the lover's side.
