Milo Rossi’s Weekly Bulletin No. 7

Week of April 22nd

(Busy Busy Week)

Howdy Patrons!

Welcome to my seventh weekly bulletin. Things have been incredibly busy over the past couple weeks and show no signs of letting up. With spring finally coming I have been dedicating most of my time to planting the garden and preparing the house for the summer when the rest of my folks are moving in. That being said, the YouTube grind waits for no man and has seen consistent progress and developments despite this.

WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO:

After filming my April Fools video, I went all hands on deck working on the Filip Zieba video. As of right now the timestamp is around 3:40 which is absolutely insane. Because of this, the production has taken much longer than expected. Since my priority lies in releasing a good video and not sticking to a schedule, my team and I have decided to just keep chipping away at it until it is done and in a place that we are all satisfied with. 

To buy my team and I a little more time, last week we released my talk that I did at Virginia Tech back last month where I discussed pseudoarchaeology and the pseudoscience pipeline. I was thrilled to see this video met with a phenomenal reception and people seemed to really enjoy the topic and messages in it. It has also opened up a couple doors for collabs with other creators who are interested in exploring some of these topics further.

WHAT I AM UP TO:

This week is going to be mostly dedicated to editing on the Filip Zieba video and getting the house straightened up. Today I need to do a review of the current episode for Gian to get him the last of the citations and some other little details to add on. Other than that, work this week is focused primarily on my personal life as I prepare to go down to NC for my partners graduation before helping her with the big move.

WHAT I WILL BE UP TO:

Since most of my work on the Zieba video is done and its work lies now primarily in post production, I am focusing in on the next videos coming up. My team and I are about to get Dark Routes back into production with an expected episode four coming in May/June. After I have filmed the necessary pieces for it we will be right back on track. Other than that I have a few other ideas like another reading of an antique textbook and a video discussing the carvings in the Cave of Swimmers in Egypt.
