I think her future ghost was haunting her. Like you guys said Nell saw for saw her death. I think the husband truly died from what he died of but Nell believed it was the bent neck lady because she saw the ghost as evil. But I think her husbands death was all what she wanted to believe to process what had actually happened to him. She was in denial. I don't think it had any really attachment to her being the bent neck lady. I think it was strategic for no one to really guess that she was the bent neck lady all along. I'm shocked Jaclyn called it!! I thought the bent neck lady wanted Nell to be like her to maybe take her place so her own soul could be free.
