Tales of a Canceled Project: Felicia X Gallon

I have often start and never finish a number of projects, some for good reasons, some for some not so good reasons. But other times they get reworked into something different. Here is the tale of one such project, Felicia X Gallon form Darkstalkers.

I started the project some time in 2011, This is what managed to complete on this project.

Right off the bat I have to admit I know nothing about Darkstalkers other than Felicia. I also knew the following, I wanted to use this as the music.

I'm sure if I had actually did some research into Darkstalkers and tried to get my hands on a copy of the game I could have turn this trainwreck into something great. However this game was way too similar to "A Really Great Night" and I wanted to mix things up a bit, so ultimately the project was eventually abandoned. 

So along comes the year 2014, that year I had the unfortunate pleasure of playing the garbage fire excuse of a game known as X-Blades. A game which I'm sure the design document for was probably just "Devil May Cry but with Sexy Anime Girls" scribbled on a napkin. Too be honest the only part of the game that was worth something is the sexy anime girl protagonist who is just so god damn unlikable of a human being that the game even fails at giving players an anime waifu.

I decided that the Felicia game was just rotting on hard drive doing nothing so let's make something of it.

I decided to stop working on the game after I realized, I hate X-Blades so damn much that making this was not worth my time. I picked a song from X-Blades that I felt was the least amount of grating, I scoured through the games sound files to look for appropriate dialogue bits and moans and all while doing that, it truly sunk in how utterly irritating the game truly was to me. Not to dump all over you favorite game if X-Blades is your favorite game, but it's easily one of the worst game I've every played.

Frankly I'm just glad I was able to finally do something with it. And I hope you enjoy what I've done with it.
