November 2021 Production Update

Last month, I said I was still technically on schedule, but I was likely to fall behind soon because my method for determining my progress was going to under-estimate the time I would need to make the last few clips. I was right. My original plan was to have 60 clips finished by October 20th, but instead, I had to settle for having 55 clips finished by October 25th. So I had to start work on the final edit 5 days behind schedule. The good news is that the first few steps in making the final edit went more smoothly than anticipated and I’ve already finished first draft of the order the clips will appear in the final edit, so hopefully my tardiness won’t have any lasting consequences for my plan of releasing Part 14 in early December.
So for November, I’m going to finish Part 14, make a trailer and thumbnail for it, and hopefully have time to make a bunch of shorts to draw traffic to my channel in the week leading up to and following part 14’s release. I don’t have any shorts ready for that yet, because just like last month, I didn’t have time to work on anything but Part 14.
