I want to make long videos again
Added 2022-07-24 20:09:34 +0000 UTCFor more than a year I have now mainly made short videos that are between 20-40 minutes long. There will be a video up next month that will be my shortest yet, about the Saudi economy, which may only be 10 minutes long.
But I have now started to feel an ever increasing urge to return to the very long style of videos that I made 2 years ago. I really miss those, I miss doing extensive research, and I miss going into deep detail, rather than cutting corners on information to keep videos shorter. So I made a decision regarding two upcoming videos:
The first video of the "Imperial Legacies" Series was intended to be about the Spanish Empire. I will now combine it with a video you voted on last year "Why Latin American states are so dysfunctional" and will begin writing it as a long video.
Additionally "The Origins of Dutch Freedom" will be expanded into an hour long video. I hope you guys are ok with this?
